Guanajuato is a state in North Central Mexico that is divided into 46 municipalities. According to the 2020 Mexican Census, Guanajuato is the sixth most populous state with inhabitants and the 22nd largest by land area spanning . Municipalities in Guanajuato are administratively autonomous of the state according to the 115th article of the 1917 Constitution of Mexico. Every three years, citizens elect a municipal president (Spanish: ''presidente municipal'') by a plurality voting system who heads a concurrently elected municipal council (''ayuntamiento'') responsible for providing all the public services for their constituents. Cuerámaro is a Mexican city (and Municipalities of Guanajuato, municipality) located in Southwest region of the state of Guanajuato. The municipality has an area of 254.85 square kilometres (0.83% of the surface of the state) and is bordered to the north by Romita, to the east by Abasolo, Guanajuato, Abasolo, to the south by Pénjamo, and to the west by Manuel Doblado, Guanajuato, Manuel Doblado. The municipality had a population of 25,610 inhabitants according to the 2005 census. City Manuel Doblado is a Mexican municipality located in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. Its municipal seat is the city of the same name. Abasolo is a Mexican city (and municipality) located in the Southwest region of the state of Guanajuato. The municipality has an area of 601.73 square kilometres (1.98% of the surface of the state), and is bordered to the north by Pueblo Nuevo and Valle de Santiago, to the south by the state of Michoacán and Huanímaro, and to the west by Pénjamo and Cuerámaro. San Francisco Del Rincón
San Francisco del Rincón is a city and municipality in the western part of the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. The city serves as the municipal seat for the municipality of San Francisco del Rincón. The city lies at the extreme northwest corner of the municipality. The settlement was founded as San Francisco del Tule on January 21, 1607 by a group of families of the Purépecha and Hñähñu ( Otomi) ethnicities.
