Cuerámaro
Cuerámaro is a Mexican city (and Municipalities of Guanajuato, municipality) located in Southwest region of the state of Guanajuato. The municipality has an area of 254.85 square kilometres (0.83% of the surface of the state) and is bordered to the north by Romita, to the east by Abasolo, Guanajuato, Abasolo, to the south by Pénjamo, and to the west by Manuel Doblado, Guanajuato, Manuel Doblado. The municipality had a population of 25,610 inhabitants according to the 2005 census. In pre-Columbian times, the area was inhabited by Guachichil people and eventually dominated by Purépecha people, Purépecha, who gave the municipality its current name of ''Cuerámaro'' or "Coat of the Swamps." The municipal president of Cuerámaro and its many smaller outlying communities is Ana Bueno. Guanajuato is a state in North Central Mexico that is divided into 46 municipalities. According to the 2020 Mexican Census, Guanajuato is the sixth most populous state with inhabitants and the 22nd largest by land area spanning . Pénjamo
Pénjamo ( tsz, Penlamu or Penxamo 'place of ahuehuetes or sabinos'; Cradle of Hidalgo) is the seat of Pénjamo municipality, one of 46 municipalities of Guanajuato, Mexico. It was cofounded in 1549 by Guamares, Purépechas, and Otomis prior to the outbreak of the Chichimeca war. The city is located to the southwest of the condition, and account with a total of 164,261.27 hectares of surface that correspond to 5.20% of the state total. Abasolo is a Mexican city (and municipality) located in the Southwest region of the state of Guanajuato. The municipality has an area of 601.73 square kilometres (1.98% of the surface of the state), and is bordered to the north by Pueblo Nuevo and Valle de Santiago, to the south by the state of Michoacán and HuanÃmaro, and to the west by Pénjamo and Cuerámaro. City Manuel Doblado is a Mexican municipality located in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. Its municipal seat is the city of the same name. Guachichil
The Guachichil, Cuauchichil, or Quauhchichitl, are an Indigenous people of Mexico. Pre-contact, they occupied the most extensive territory of all the indigenous Chichimeca Nations tribes in pre-Columbian Central Mexico. The Guachichiles roamed through a large region of Zacatecas; as well as portions of San Luis PotosÃ, Guanajuato, and northeastern Jalisco; south to the northern corners of Michoacán; and north to Saltillo in Coahuila. Purépecha People
The Purépecha (endonym pua, P'urhepecha ) are a group of indigenous people centered in the northwestern region of Michoacán, Mexico, mainly in the area of the cities of Cherán and Pátzcuaro. They are also known by the pejorative "Tarascan", an exonym, applied by outsiders and not one they use for themselves.
