Romano Meier (born 14 April 1995 in Baden) is a Swiss curler from Ehrendingen. He currently plays second on Team Michael Brunner. Career Juniors In 2012, Meier represented Switzerland for the first time internationally at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics. The team also included Michael Brunner, Elena Stern and Lisa Gisler. The team finished the round robin with a 6–1 record and then won all three of their playoff games to secure the gold medal. Meier was a member of the Swiss junior men's team, skipped by Yannick Schwaller, at three straight World Junior Curling Championships. In 2014, his team of Schwaller, Reto Keller, Patrick Witschonke and Michael Probst led Switzerland to a 6–3 round robin record. Kyle Smith (born 9 July 1992) is a retired Scottish curler from Guildford, Perthshire. During his career, he skipped the British men's curling team at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, placing fifth. Braden Calvert (born July 16, 1995) is a Canadian curler from Carberry, Manitoba. He currently skips his own team out of Winnipeg. He is a former World Junior curling champion and two-time Canadian junior champion. Career Calvert, originally from Winnipeg, won his first provincial junior title in 2014, and skipped Manitoba at the 2014 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. There, his team of Kyle Kurz, Lucas Van Den Bosch and Brendan Wilson lost one game, en route to their first national junior title. In the final, they defeated New Brunswick's Rene Comeau to earn the right to represent Canada at the 2014 World Junior Curling Championships. Amos Mosaner (born 12 March 1995 in Trento) is an Italian curler from Cembra. He is an Olympic gold medallist, having won the mixed doubles event at the 2022 Winter Olympics with partner Stefania Constantini. Career Juniors As a junior curler, Mosaner represented Italy in four World Junior Curling Championships. He played third for Italy at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships on a team skipped by Andrea Pilzer. The team finished 9th. Reto Keller (born 4 June 1994 in Münsingen) is a Swiss curler from Bern. Keller threw fourth stones for the Swiss junior team (skipped by Yannick Schwaller) at the 2014 World Junior Curling Championships, winning a gold medal. Keller was invited to be the alternate on the Swiss team at the 2015 World Junior Curling Championships. The team won a silver medal, though Keller didn't play in any matches. Career Juniors Schwaller skipped the Swiss junior men's team at three straight World Junior Curling Championships. In 2014, he led his team of Reto Keller, throwing fourth stones, Patrick Witschonke, Michael Probst and Romano Meier to a 6–3 round robin record. They then beat Italy's Amos Mosaner in a tiebreaker to qualify for the playoffs. Career Gisler first represented Switzerland on the international stage at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics where her team of Michael Brunner, Elena Stern and Romano Meier won the gold medal. In 2014, Gisler was a young ambassador for the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics. Elena Stern (born 8 November 1994) is a retired Swiss curler from Zürich. Career Stern first represented Switzerland on the international stage at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics where her team of Michael Brunner, Romano Meier and Lisa Gisler won the gold medal. In 2014, she played in her first World Junior Curling Championship as the alternate for Corina Mani. They lost the tiebreaker 7–6 to Sweden's Isabella Wranå.
