Filomeno Do Nascimento Vieira Dias
Filomeno do Nascimento Vieira Dias (born 18 April 1958) is an Angolan prelate of the Catholic Church who has been Archbishop of Luanda since 2015; he was an auxiliary bishop there from 2003 to 2005. He was Bishop of Cabinda from 2005 to 2014, where his lack of identification with the province and its separatist movement initially made his appointment controversial and he was only installed after sixteen months. Belmiro Cuica Chissengueti C.S.Sp. (born 5 March 1969) is an Angolan prelate of the Catholic Church who has been bishop of Cabinda since 2018. He serves as the spokesperson for Angolan bishops on political and social affairs, and for his social media presence has been called the bishop of the diocese of Facebook. Early life Belmiro Cuica Chissengueti was born on 5 March 1969 in the town of Chinguar in Bié, a province in Central Angola. He was not raised a Catholic but was instead along with his parents a member of the Congregational Evangelical Church in Angola. Cabinda, also known as Chioua, is a city and a municipality located in the Cabinda Province, an exclave of Angola. Angolan sovereignty over Cabinda is disputed by the secessionist Republic of Cabinda. The city of Cabinda had a population of 550,000 and the municipality a population of 624,646, at the 2014 Census. Cabinda (formerly called Portuguese Congo, kg, Kabinda) is an exclave and province of Angola in Africa, a status that has been disputed by several political organizations in the territory.
