Daniello Marco Delfino
Daniello Marco Dolfino or Daniel Marc Delfin (born 5 October 1653 in Venice, then in the Republic of Venice and died in Brescia on 5 August 1704) is an Italian cardinal of the late seventeenth and early eighteenth century and member of the noble family Delfin. He is a grand-nephew of Cardinal Giovanni Delfino (seniore) (1604) and a nephew of Cardinal Giovanni Delfino (iuniore) (1667). Biography Dolfino performs functions in the Roman Curia, including as a referendum to the Supreme Court of the Apostolic Signatura. He was vice-legate at Avignon from 1692 to 1696. He was elected titular archbishop of Damascus and sent as apostolic nuncio to France in 1696. Marcantonio Raimondi, often called simply Marcantonio (c. 1470/82 – c. 1534), was an Italian engraver, known for being the first important printmaker whose body of work consists largely of prints copying paintings. He is therefore a key figure in the rise of the reproductive print. He also systematized a technique of engraving that became dominant in Italy and elsewhere. His collaboration with Raphael greatly helped his career, and he continued to exploit Raphael's works after the painter's death in 1520, playing a large part in spreading High Renaissance styles across Europe. Much of the biographical information we have comes from his life, the only one of a printmaker, in Vasari's ''Lives of the Artists''. He is attributed with around 300 engravings. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ferrara-Comacchio ( la, Archidioecesis Ferrariensis-Comaclensis) has existed since 1986, when the diocese of Comacchio was combined with the historical archdiocese of Ferrara. It is a suffragan of the archdiocese of Bologna. The episcopal seat was transferred from Vicohabentia (Voghenza) to the newly founded Ferrara in 657. The earliest known bishop of Vicohabentia is Marcellinus, who was consecrated c. 429–431. Originally, it seems, the diocese (or at least the diocese of Vicohabentia) was a suffragan of the metropolitanate of Ravenna. Ferrara repeatedly contested that opinion, and claimed to be directly dependent upon the Holy See (the Pope). Giuseppe Maria Feroni (born 1693, died 1767) was a Cardinal in the Roman Catholic church, and camerlengo from 1760–1761. A famous bust of him by Andre-Jean Lebrun is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Biography Feroni came from the wealthy noble family of the Marquises of Bellavista. He was the son of Marchese Fabio Feroni and Costanza della Stufa. He studied at the Collegio Clementino in Rome, the Pontifical Diplomatic Academy, and La Sapienza University, where in 1716 he was awarded his doctorate. On 16 January 1716 he entered the Roman prelature as a candidate for the Apostolic Protonotary, and on 23 January that year he became a clerk at the Apostolic Signatura. He was ordained a priest on 22 October 1719. Pope Clement XI appointed him to be a canon of the Lateran Basilica. He was appointed a titular archbishop on 10 May 1728.
