Rollie Krewson
Rollie Krewson (sometimes credited as "Rollin Krewson") is a puppet designer and builder known for her work on various Muppet productions. She interned with Jim Henson's company in the mid-1970s. Although she now works primarily as a designer/builder, she began as a performer, doing small bits on ''The Muppet Show'' and other projects. She has contributed to almost every Henson production since her arrival, and to this day carries her skills through on ''Sesame Street''. Krewson was the designer for Julia, ''Sesame's'' autistic Muppet character. Krewson has received seven Daytime Emmy Awards for her contributions on ''Sesame Street'' and has been nominated many times for her work on other Henson productions. Puppet
A puppet is an object, often resembling a human, animal or Legendary creature, mythical figure, that is animated or manipulated by a person called a puppeteer. The puppeteer uses movements of their hands, arms, or control devices such as rods or strings to move the body, head, limbs, and in some cases the mouth and eyes of the puppet. The puppeteer often speaks in the voice of the character of the puppet, and then synchronizes the movements of the puppet's mouth with this spoken part. The actions, gestures and spoken parts acted out by the puppeteer with the puppet are typically used in storytelling. The Christmas Toy
''The Christmas Toy'' is a 1986 television film directed by Eric Till and produced by The Jim Henson Company, featuring Jim Henson's Muppets, including Rugby the Tiger who remembers how he was the Christmas Toy last year, and thinks he is going to be unwrapped again this year. The film, which originally aired on December 6, 1986 on ABC, was sponsored by Kraft Foods. The film has many plot points that are notably similar to ''Toy Story'', which was released 9 years later. Originally introduced by Kermit the Frog, it was released on VHS format in 1993. In 2008, HIT Entertainment (distributed by Lionsgate) released the special on DVD, but edited out Kermit's opening introduction due to legal issues with Disney. ''Sisimpur'' ( bn, সিসিমপুর) is the Bangladeshi version of the children's television series ''Sesame Street''. The show premiered in April 2005 on Bangladesh Television and aims to make learning enjoyable for children. The series is co-produced by Bangladesh-based Nayantara Communications and Sesame Workshop. It was Bangladesh's first children's educational program and was expected to be seen by 4 million children in its first two years. Elmo is a red Muppet monster character on the long-running PBS/HBO children's television show ''Sesame Street''. A furry red monster who has a falsetto voice and illeism, he hosts the last full five-minute segment (fifteen minutes prior to 2017) on ''Sesame Street'', "Elmo's World", which is aimed at toddlers. Abby Cadabby, mostly referred to as just Abby, is a Muppet character on the PBS/ HBO children's television show ''Sesame Street'', performed by Leslie Carrara-Rudolph. On August 14, 2006, Abby made her debut in the first episode of ''Sesame Street''’s 37th season, when she moved into the neighborhood and met some of the Street's residents. On the day of her debut, her wand broke; Big Bird told her to take her wand to the Fix-It Shop where Maria would fix it. Season 40 features her CGI animated recurring segments titled ''Abby's Flying Fairy School'' which was adapted into a proper spin-off. Fozzie Bear is a Muppet character best known as the insecure and comedically fruitless stand-up comic on ''The Muppet Show.'' Fozzie is an orange-brown bear who often wears a brown pork pie hat and a pink and white polka dot necktie. ''Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas'' is a 1977 television special directed by Jim Henson, based on the 1971 Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas (book), children's book of the same name by Russell Hoban. The special features an ensemble cast of Henson's The Muppets, Muppet characters as well as characters from Hoban's novel, in a teleplay adapted by Jerry Juhl. The special features narration by Kermit the Frog, who tells the story of Emmet Otter and his widowed Ma, a poor family of Otter, otters who struggle to get Christmas presents for the other as a result of their financial situation.
