Rolf Aldag (born 25 August 1968 in Beckum, West Germany) is a former professional road bicycle racer who rode for Team Telekom from 1993 to 2005. He raced in 10 Tour de France, 1 Giro d'Italia and 5 Vuelta a España. Prior to joining Telekom, he raced with Helvetia. Beginning in 2020, Aldag works as ''directeur sportif'' for the Canyon–SRAM team. In 2007 Aldag admitted to doping -- having used Erythropoietin (EPO) from 1995 to 1999. Beckum, Germany
Beckum (; Westphalian: ''Biäkem'') is a town in the northern part of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is about 20 km (12 miles) north-east of Hamm and 35 km (22 miles) south-east of Münster. It gives its name to the nearby Beckum Hills. History Several Neolithic stone cists are the earliest traces of humans in the area around the three brooks, Kollenbach, Lippbach and Siechenbach. Because of these three brooks, the town was eventually named Bekehem or later Beckum, meaning "home upon the brooks". Rudy Pevenage
Rudy Pévenage (15 June 1954) is a former Belgian cyclist, and later in his career team coach of cycling teams such as , , , and . Pévenage was a professional cyclist from 1976 until 1988. His largest success was in the 1980 Tour de France: he won one stage and won the points classification. He reached second place in the 1979 Tour de Suisse. He also spent nine days in the yellow jersey, leading the general classification in the Tour de France. His nickname was ''de rosse van Moerbeke''.
