''Rojo'' was a Chilean series of reality television competition series that started in 2002 and continued with various formats until 2008, allowing new talents in music and dance a chance for exposure with the public. Rafael Araneda was the host from 2002 to 2007. The last season in 2008 was hosted by Martín Cárcamo. The series was broadcast on Televisión Nacional de Chile known as TVN. The series was produced by Jorge Soissa and Roberto Apud and directed by Eduardo Domínguez (executive director) and Mariana Krumm (general director). Rafael Araneda
Rafael Luis Araneda Maturana (born September 18, 1969, in Santiago) is a popular Chilean TV presenter, best known for his participation in the show Rojo Fama Contrafama as the host. Also he was the host of '' Estrellas en el Hielo'', ''Sin Prejuicios'', ''Rojo VIP'', ''Noche de Juegos'', ''El Baile en TVN'' (Chilean version of Strictly Come Dancing by the BBC). Martín Cárcamo
Martín Andrés Cárcamo Papic (born April 21, 1975) is a Chilean television presenter, actor and former host of ''Pasiones'' and ''El Último Pasajero''. He debuted in television on the Chilean TV channel Rock & Pop where he was the host of ''Media Naranja'' and ''Noches de Verano''. Later in 2004, he joined TVN as the host of ''Pasiones'', replacing Felipe Camiroaga. In 2008, Cárcamo replaced Rafael Araneda in ''Rojo, Fama Contrafama''. In 2009, he was a judge of the Festival de Viña del Mar, and until recently, he hosted ''Calle 7''.
