Rogier Jansen
Rogier Jansen (born 29 August 1984) is a Dutch retired basketball player and current coach. Jansen has represented the Dutch national basketball team multiple times. Professional career On 2 July 2003 Jansen signed with Hanzevast Capitals - or Donar - from Groningen. In the 2003–04 season Jansen won the Dutch national championship with the team. In 2005, he got his first NBB Cup. In the 2005–06 season Jansen played for BC Omniworld in Almere. Jansen returned to Groningen in 2007. After two seasons with the Capitals, he signed with EiffelTowers Den Bosch. In the 2011–12 season Jansen won the Dutch Basketball League with Den Bosch. It was his second national championship. During the 2012–13 season, Jansen returned to his former club Donar, now named GasTerra Flames. His contract wasn't extended. On 28 June 2013 it was announced Jansen signed with the Den Helder Kings for the 2013–14 season. In August 2014, Jansen signed a 2-year deal with Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden. In ...

ZZ Leiden Basketball, also known as Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden, is a basketball club based in Leiden, Netherlands. The club plays in the BNXT League, the domestic first tier league. NBB Cup
The Basketball Cup, formerly the NBB Cup ( nl, NBB-Beker), is an annual cup competition for Dutch basketball teams organised by the Basketball Nederland. Every team in the Netherlands can participate by signing up for the preliminary rounds. Professional basketball teams from the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) enter the tournament in the fourth round. From 1977 until 1990 professional teams were not allowed to participate in the competition. The tournament is organized in a knock-out format, with quarter- and semi-finals being two-legged series while the final is played in a single game. Heroes Den Bosch and Donar are the two clubs with the most cup titles, as both have a total of 7 titles. During the 2020–21 season, the tournament was not played and was replaced by the DBL Cup, featuring only the twelve DBL teams. BC Omniworld
Almere Pioneers is a Dutch amateur basketball team based in Almere. The team plays in the Promotiedivisie, the Dutch second tier league. History The club was founded in 1999 as a professional basketball club named BC Omniworld Almere and participated in the top-tier Eredivisie. The team played its home games in the Topsportcentrum Almere. The 2002–03 season was the best season in Almere's history, as the team reached the Eredivisie finals. In these finals Omniworld lost 0–4 to Amsterdam. In January 2008, the team went bankrupt and was forced to leave the Eredivisie. A year later, the club changed its name to Almere Pioneers and started playing in the second-tier amateur league Promotiedivisie. Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people. Donar is one of the traditional first division clubs along with Den Bosch, as it entered the league years ago. The Netherlands men's national basketball team ( nl, Het Nederlands nationaal basketbalteam) represents the Netherlands in international basketball matches. The national team is governed by Basketball Nederland. The Dutch have reached the European Basketball Championship on 15 occasions.
