Roger Puigbò
Roger Puigbò i Verdaguer (born 20 March 1978) is Spanish track and field athlete. He has a disability and uses a wheelchair. He is a long-distance athlete, competing in wheelchair marathons around the world. Puigbo competed at the 2004 Summer Paralympics, 2008 Summer Paralympics, and 2012 Summer Paralympics. Personal Puigbo was born 20 March 1978, in Vic, Barcelona, has a disability, and uses a wheelchair. Athletics Puigbo is a T53 wheelchair track and field athlete. Puigbo competed at the 1998 IPC World Championship in Birmingham, England in the marathon and the 400 meter races. He finished third at the Berlin Marathon in 2000. The XIV Mediterranean Games ( ar, ألعاب البحر الأبيض المتوسط 2001), commonly known as the 2001 Mediterranean Games, were the 14th Mediterranean Games held in Tunis, Tunisia, from 2-15 September 2001, where 2,991 athletes (1,972 men and 1,019 women) from 23 countries participated. World Athletics Championships
The World Athletics Championships (until 2019 known as the World Championships in Athletics) are a biennial athletics competition organized by World Athletics (formerly IAAF, International Association of Athletics Federations). Bollnäs () is a Swedish locality and the seat of Bollnäs Municipality, in Gävleborg County, Sweden. It had 26,937 inhabitants in 2017 History The first recording of Bollnäs in writing is from 1312 when a vicar named Ingemund referred to it as ''Baldenaes'', meaning "the large isthmus," referring to the isthmus into a nearby lake. Before becoming known as Bollnäs, its name was ''Bro By'' (lit. Bridge Village). Bollnäs has a station along the Northern Railline (''Norra Stambanan''), which it was connected to in 1878. The town became a main base for further northern expansion of the railroad. In 1884, it became a primary maintenance and repair workshop for the railroad. 2006 World Indoor Championships In Athletics
The 11th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) was held in Moscow from March 10 to March 12, 2006 in the Olimpiyski Sport arena. The announcement by the IAAF in November 2003 was a blow to Madrid, which was also in the running to hold the event but Spain had already held the competition twice. This was the first major senior athletics competition to be held in the country since the highly boycotted 1980 Summer Olympics. Stadskanaal () is a town and municipality with a population of 32,715 in the province of Groningen in the northeast of the Netherlands. It was named after the canal Stadskanaal.
