Roger Moore (American Actor)
Sir Roger George Moore (14 October 192723 May 2017) was an English actor. He was the third actor to portray fictional secret agent James Bond in the Eon Productions/ MGM Studios film series, playing the character in seven feature films between 1973 and 1985. Moore's seven appearances as Bond, from '' Live and Let Die'' to '' A View to a Kill'', are the most of any actor in the Eon-produced entries. On television, Moore played the lead role of Simon Templar, the title character in the British mystery thriller series ''The Saint'' (1962–1969). He also had roles in American series, including Beau Maverick on the Western '' Maverick'' (1960–1961), in which he replaced James Garner as the lead, and a co-lead, with Tony Curtis, in the action-comedy '' The Persuaders!'' Holsworthy is a market town and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, England, some west of Exeter. The evacuation of civilians in Britain during the Second World War was designed to protect people, especially children, from the risks associated with aerial bombing of cities by moving them to areas thought to be less at risk. Battersea Grammar School
Battersea Grammar School was a Voluntary-Controlled Secondary Grammar School in South London. Bow Street is a thoroughfare in Covent Garden, Westminster, London. It connects Long Acre, Russell Street and Wellington Street, and is part of a route from St Giles to Waterloo Bridge. The Saint (2017 Film)
''The Saint'' is a 2017 American action film directed by Ernie Barbarash and starring Adam Rayner in the title role of Simon Templar, created by Leslie Charteris. This was Sir Roger Moore's final film appearance and the film was dedicated to his memory as he died two months before the release; Moore portrayed Templar in a 1960s TV series of the same title. Filmed in 2013 as a television pilot for a proposed TV series, the film was not originally intended for release when the series was not picked up.
