Roger Charlton
Roger J. Charlton (born 18 January 1950) is an English racehorse trainer and a former flat racing jockey. He trains horses in Beckhampton Stables, near Marlborough in Wiltshire, England. He made an immediate impact as a trainer in England and Europe, including victories in both The Derby and the Prix du Jockey Club in 1990. There has been continued success with the likes of Three Valleys, Tante Rose, Harmonic Way, Trade Fair, Tamarisk, Bated Breath, Avonbridge, Striking Ambition and then Al Kazeem had a series of major victories in 2013. After retiring him to stud, Time Test appeared on the scene in 2015. Roger is currently assisted by his son Harry. Previous assistants include Lambourn-based trainers Ed Walker and Daniel Kubler. Jebel Hatta
The Jebel Hatta is a Thoroughbred horse race run annually since 2000 at the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Raced on turf, it is open to horses four-years-old and up who were bred in the Northern Hemisphere and to horses three-years-old and up who were bred in the Southern Hemisphere. Inaugurated in 2000, it was run that year at a distance of 1700 meters. Since 2001 it has been raced over a distance of 1777 meters (app. 1.1 miles). The Tattersalls Gold Cup is a Group 1 flat horse race in Ireland open to thoroughbreds aged four years or older. Sanglamore
Sanglamore (1 March 1987 – after 2007) was an American-bred, British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. In a racing career disrupted by injury, he won four of his eight races between November 1989 and July 1991. After finishing second in his only race as a juvenile in 1989, he emerged as one of the leading colts of his generation in the first half of the following year, winning the Dante Stakes in England and the Prix du Jockey Club in France.
