Rodney H. Brady
Rodney Howard Brady (January 31, 1933 January 9, 2017) was an American corporate businessman. He received a doctoral degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School (HBS). Beyond his work in the business world, Brady was the president of Weber State College. He was an assistant secretary in the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare (HEW) and was a member of a presidential committee. Brady was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). He had an enduring involvement in the Scouting movement. Personal life On January 31, 1933, Brady was born in Sandy, Utah, the second of four children. Snow College
Snow College is a public community college in Ephraim, Utah. It offers certificates and associate degrees in a number of areas, along with bachelor's degrees in music and software engineering and a four-year nursing program. Snow College is part of the Utah System of Higher Education. Hughes Tool Company was an American manufacturer of drill bits. Founded in 1908, it was merged into Baker Hughes Incorporated in 1987. History The company was established in December 1908 as Sharp-Hughes Tool Company when Howard R. Hughes Sr. patented a roller cutter bit that dramatically improved the rotary drilling process for oil drilling rigs. He partnered with longtime business associate Walter Benona Sharp to manufacture and market the bit. Following her husband's death in 1912, Sharp's widow Estelle Sharp sold her 50% share in the company to Howard Hughes Sr. in 1914. The company was renamed Hughes Tool Company on February 3, 1915. A stake is an administrative unit composed of multiple congregations in certain denominations of the Latter Day Saint movement.
