picture info	John Rocque John Rocque (originally Jean; c. 1704–1762) was a French-born British surveyor and cartographer, best known for his detailed map of London published in 1746. Life and career Rocque was born in France in about 1704, one of four children of a Huguenot family who subsequently fled first to Geneva, and then, probably in 1709, to England. He became a godfather in 1728, which suggests he was at least twenty-one years old by that time. In addition to his work as surveyor and mapmaker, Rocque was an engraver and map-seller. He was also involved in some way in gardening as a young man, living with his brother Bartholomew, who was a landscape gardener, and producing plans for parterres, perhaps recording pre-existing designs, but few details of this work are known. Rocque produced engraved plans of the gardens at Wrest Park (1735), Claremont (1738), Charles Hamilton's naturalistic landscape garden at Painshill Park, Surrey (1744), Wanstead House (1745) and Wilton House (1746). 	Kelsey Rocque Kelsey Elizabeth Rocque (born March 25, 1994) is a Canadian curler residing in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. She is a two-time World Junior champion skip. Career In 2013, Rocque played for her first University Championship, at the 2013 CIS/CCA Curling Championships in Kamloops, British Columbia, for the University of Alberta Pandas. There, she would go 6–1 in the round robin and it would earn her a spot in the semifinals. She then, would play the Saint Mary's Huskies and win in an 8–2 decision. She would then go on to play in the final against the Manitoba Bisons and lose in a 9–7 decision. Rocque would win the silver medal, and be named to the First All Star team at the skip position. Rocque would also play in the Alberta Junior Curling Championship that year. They went 6–1 in the round robin which gave them a berth in the final. There they would lose to Karynn Flory. 	Marcel Rocque Marcel Rocque (born June 22, 1971 in St. Paul, Alberta) is a Canadian curler from Edmonton, Alberta. He is a four-time winner of The Brier, the annual Canadian men's curling championship and a three-time World Champion as the lead for the Randy Ferbey team. Rocque would play in two Alberta provincial championships as a lead for Don Walchuk before joining the Ferbey team by 1999. In 2019, Rocque finished second in a TSN poll of broadcasters, reporters and top curlers to name the greatest Canadian male lead in curling history. Coaching Marcel Rocque began coaching the Chinese women's team in 2013 and was the coach for the China's Men Curling team for the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi, Russia.
