Kelsey Rocque
Kelsey Elizabeth Rocque (born March 25, 1994) is a Canadian curler residing in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. She is a two-time World Junior champion skip. Career In 2013, Rocque played for her first University Championship, at the 2013 CIS/CCA Curling Championships in Kamloops, British Columbia, for the University of Alberta Pandas. There, she would go 6–1 in the round robin and it would earn her a spot in the semifinals. She then, would play the Saint Mary's Huskies and win in an 8–2 decision. She would then go on to play in the final against the Manitoba Bisons and lose in a 9–7 decision. Rocque would win the silver medal, and be named to the First All Star team at the skip position. Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta
Fort Saskatchewan is a city along the North Saskatchewan River in Alberta, Canada. It is northeast of Edmonton, the provincial capital. It is part of the Edmonton census metropolitan area and one of 24 municipalities that constitute the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board. Its population in the 2021 federal census was 27,088. The city was founded as a North-West Mounted Police fort and later home to a large provincial gaol. The original fort was located across the river from the hamlet of Lamoureux, and Fort Saskatchewan opened a replica of the fort next to its original site in 2011. Mary Fay
Mary Fay (born June 7, 1998) is a Canadian curler from Chester, Nova Scotia. Curling career At just 15 years old, Fay and her young rink of Jenn Smith, Karlee Burgess and Janique LeBlanc won the 2014 Nova Scotia Junior women's championship. They were the youngest team to win in 20 years., sending the four-some to the 2014 Canadian Junior Curling Championships to represent Nova Scotia. Despite their youth, the team finished with an 8-2 record, making the playoffs. The team would go on to lose to British Columbia, skipped by Kalia Van Osch in the semi-final, winning a bronze medal. The next year, the Fay rink won their second U21 Nova Scotia Provincials, earning the right to represent Nova Scotia at their second back-to-back Canadian Junior Curling Championship. Jocelyn Peterman
Jocelyn Andrea Peterman (born September 23, 1993) is a Canadian curler from Calgary, Alberta. She currently plays second for the Kaitlyn Lawes rink. Career Juniors Peterman and her team of Brittany Tran, Becca Konschuh and Kristine Anderson won a silver medal skipping Alberta at the 2011 Canada Winter Games, losing to British Columbia's Corryn Brown in the final. The next season, the team represented Alberta at the 2012 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. They won the event, defeating Manitoba's Shannon Birchard rink in the national final. This qualified the team to represent Canada at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships. After posting a 6–3 round robin record, the team lost to Russia's Anna Sidorova in a tie-breaker match, thus failing to make the playoffs. Taylor Rae McDonald (born May 12, 1993) is a Canadian curler from Edmonton. She currently plays lead on Team Casey Scheidegger. McDonald previously played second for Team Laura Walker and Team Kelsey Rocque, with whom she won gold at the 2014 World Junior Curling Championships and the 2017 Winter Universiade. Keely Brown (curler)
Keely Brown (born July 13, 1993) is a Canadian curler and former World junior curling champion. She has also been on the gold medal team at the 2008 and 2010 Alberta Winter Games and the 2014 World Junior Curling Championships. Brown started curling at the age of six at the North Hill Curling Club in Calgary. In 2004, she joined a team to begin her competitive career. The Manitoba Bisons are the athletic teams that represent the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The football team plays their games at Investors Group Field. The soccer team play their home games at the University of Manitoba Soccer Fields while the track and field teams use the University Stadium as their home track. Saint Mary's Huskies
The Saint Mary's Huskies are the men's and women's athletic teams that represent Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Their primary home turf is Huskies Stadium located in the centre of the University's campus. In September 2007, Saint Mary's announced the plans to build the new Homburg Centre for Health & Wellness that will comprise the current gymnasium (The Tower), the new Dauphinee Arena, and a new building to connect the two. The centre is to be named after Richard Homburg, who provided a $5 million gift to the project, the largest gift the university had received in its 205-year history. The Dauphinee Arena, completed in 2019, has an NHL-sized ice surface and a seating capacity for 875. The arena is named for the late Mr. Bob Dauphinee who was a strong supporter of the Huskies hockey team for over 50 years.
