Rocky Mills, better known by the ring name Rocky Anderson, is an American professional wrestler and trainer. Mills is a member of the Anderson family. Professional wrestling career Becoming an Anderson Mills was the head trainer for NWA Hall of Famer Gene Anderson's gym. Mills wrestled as Rocky Anderson, a member of the Anderson family. Creating new Andersons Pat Connors, who had been training with Ivan Koloff, wanted to start his professional wrestling career and perform as a member of the Anderson wrestling family. Connors told Koloff of this request and Koloff agreed and spent extra time training Connors so he understood what it meant to be an Anderson. Koloff then reached out to Mills and told him he had a guy who looked and wrestled like an Anderson. Mills went to a show in Monroe, North Carolina to see Connors perform and was impressed by what he had seen in the match. The Anderson family is a group of professional wrestlers, a part fictional, part real, extended family largely consisting of brothers, cousins and children. Gene Anderson NWA Hall of Famer Gene Anderson (the only actual 'Anderson' of the original group), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, started his professional wrestling career in 1958. Kings Mountain is a small suburban city within the Charlotte metropolitan area in Cleveland and Gaston counties, North Carolina, United States. Most of the city is in Cleveland County, with a small eastern portion in Gaston County. The population was 10,296 at the 2010 census. Emanuel Fernandez (born July 27, 1954) is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, "The Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez. Early life Fernandez played American football for West Texas A&M University. Professional wrestling career Fernandez had success in 1979, becoming Florida Heavyweight Champion after a feud with Terry Funk. He also formed a tag team with Dusty Rhodes, and they won the NWA World tag team title from Ivan Koloff and Don Kernodle. They feuded with them and Ivan's "nephew" Nikita Koloff until losing the title to the Koloffs in early 1985. Fernandez soon became involved in a feud with Arn Anderson after being attacked by Anderson and laid out. He teamed with Thunderbolt Patterson to feud with Arn and Ole Anderson. Monroe is a city in and the county seat of Union County, North Carolina, United States. The population increased from 32,797 in 2010 to 34,551 in 2020.
