''Rock 'n' Roll Juvenile'' is the 22nd studio album by Cliff Richard, released in 1979. It featured his biggest-ever single, " We Don't Talk Anymore", which was a UK No. 1 hit (his first since 1968's "Congratulations" and his only one of the 1970s) and the No. 4 hit "Carrie". Background Recording sessions for the album began on 18 July 1978, before his previous album had been released. Over the next few days, the backing tracks of many of the songs were recorded, while the vocals weren't begun until January 1979 and continued on sporadically for the next few months, with the final vocal to be completed being for "Falling in Love" on 30 June 1979 (almost a year after the backing track). The final song to be considered for inclusion was "We Don't Talk Anymore", which had been recorded completely in one day in May 1979. "Hot Shot" is a song performed by Cliff Richard and released as a single in October 1979. Written by Terry Britten and B. A. Robertson, it was the second single lifted from Richard's 1979 album '' Rock 'n' Roll Juvenile''. It reached no. 46 in the UK Singles Chart. Release "Hot Shot" was released as the follow-up single to the international hit " We Don't Talk Anymore". However, it failed to repeat its success, failing to make the top 40 in the UK, peaking at number 46 and spending a total of five weeks in the top 75. It did, however, perform better in Ireland, peaking at number 27. Trevor Spencer (born 1947 in Adelaide, Australia) is an Australian songwriter, record producer and drummer. He studied drums and percussion from the age of 10. By the age of 14, he was playing professionally in bands in Adelaide and Melbourne, where he met his songwriting and musical partner Alan Tarney. Madeline Bell (born July 23, 1942) is an American soul singer, who became famous as a performer in the UK during the 1960s and 1970s with pop group Blue Mink, having arrived from America in the gospel show ''Black Nativity'' in 1962, with the vocal group Bradford Singers. Peter Skellern (14 March 1947 – 17 February 2017) was an English singer-songwriter and pianist who rose to fame in the 1970s. Tristan Frederick Allan Fry (born 25 October 1946, London) is a British drummer and percussionist. Career Fry began his career by joining the London Philharmonic Orchestra as a timpanist at the age of 17. He was a founder member of a number of ensembles, including the Nash, Fires of London and the London Sinfonietta. Bryn Haworth
Bryn Haworth (born 29 July 1948) is a British Christian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and pioneer of Jesus music in mainstream rock. Born in Blackburn, Lancashire, UK, he has released some twenty-two albums and several singles since the 1970s as well as guesting as guitarist on many other albums by rock and folk artists.
