Robotech (TV Series)
''Robotech'' is an American 85-episode adaptation of three unrelated Japanese anime television series (from three different fictional universes) made between 1982 and 1984 in Japan; the adaptation was aired in 1985. Within the combined and edited story, ''Robotechnology'' refers to the scientific advances discovered in an alien starship that crashed on a South Pacific island. With this technology, Earth developed giant robotic machines or mecha (many of which were capable of transforming into vehicles) to fight three successive extraterrestrial invasions. Background ''Robotech'' was one of the first anime televised in the United States that attempted to include most of the complexity and drama of its original Japanese source material. The ''San Francisco Chronicle'' is a newspaper serving primarily the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. It was founded in 1865 as ''The Daily Dramatic Chronicle'' by teenage brothers Charles de Young and M. H. de Young, Michael H. de Young. was a Japanese animation design studio formed in 1978. It went bankrupt and was liquidated in 1997. AIC RIGHTS now holds the intellectual property of most of Artmic's titles. is a Japanese animation studio. It has produced numerous noted anime series, including the award-winning ''Mushishi'' and epic ''Legend of the Galactic Heroes''. Harmony Gold USA, Inc. was an American film and television production company. It was founded in 1983 by Egyptian-born Frank Agrama and is managed by his daughter, Jehan F. Agrama. In 1976, Agrama sold broadcast rights from Paramount Pictures to the Mediaset media conglomerate. It is best known as the distributor of the controversial ''Shaka Zulu (TV series), Shaka Zulu'' miniseries and for various anime series, notably ''Robotech (TV series), Robotech''. The studio's name has a double meaning in Japanese: "Tatsu's child" (Tatsu is a nickname for Tatsuo) and " sea dragon", the inspiration for its seahorse logo. Tatsunoko's headquarters are in Musashino, Tokyo. Ulpio Minucci
Ulpio Minucci (June 29, 1917 – March 9, 2007) was an Italian-born American composer and musician. Minucci wrote a number of popular hits in the 1950s, including " Domani," "A Thousand Thoughts of You," and "Felicia." He was nominated for two Emmy Awards for his work on ABC's ''Saga of Western Man'' in 1964 and 1965. He is also well known among anime fans as the composer of the theme and musical score for the 1985 animated television series ''Robotech''. Mike Reynolds (November 21, 1929 – July 2, 2022) was an American voice actor and writer. Career Reynolds had been a voice actor in animation and anime movies since 1973 until 2004, and had also been a screen actor in movies. His most distinctive acting characteristic was his gruff, gravely voice. He used his voice in the ''Power Rangers'' franchise until 2002.
