Robertas Fridrikas
Robertas Fridrikas (born 8 April 1967) is a Lithuanian former football forward, who last played for WAF Procar in Austria during his professional career. Fridrikas was nicknamed ''Garrincha'', after the famous Brazilian winger, since his one leg was shorter than the other just like Garrincha's. International career He obtained ten caps for the Lithuania national football team, scoring two goals in 1992. Personal life Fridrikas' wife, Ausra Fridrikas, was one of the best handballers of the 1990s. His two sons, Mantas and Lukas are also professional footballers. He remained in Austria after retirement, and now works in the tourism industry. Lukas Fridrikas (born 30 December 1997) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Austria Lustenau. Career Fridrikas is a product of the youth academies of Admira Wacker and Red Bull Salzburg. He began his senior career with Anif in 2015, before moving to Seekirchen where he scored 15 goals in 17 games. He then signed with Wiener Neustädter in January 2017. Fridrikas moved to Dornbirn in 2018, and helped them get promoted into the 2. Liga. On 30 December 2020, he transferred to Wacker Innsbruck signing a contract until 2024. On 1 January 2022, he transferred to Austria Klagenfurt in the Austrian Football Bundesliga. A total of 39 UEFA teams entered qualification for the 1994 FIFA World Cup. However, Liechtenstein withdrew before the draw was made. The CIS, then Russia took the Soviet Union's spot after the Soviet Union dissolved while FIFA suspended Yugoslavia due to United Nations sanctions stemming from the Yugoslav wars. The European zone was allocated 13 from 24 places in the final tournament. Germany, the defending champions, qualified automatically, leaving 12 spots open for competition between 37 teams. The 37 teams were divided into six groups, five of six teams each and one of seven teams (though Group 5 ended up with just five teams following Yugoslavia's suspension).
