Robert J. Kleine
Robert J. Kleine was the 43rd State Treasurer of Michigan, serving from 2006 to 2010. He was appointed to his position effective April 9, 2006, by Governor Jennifer M. Granholm. Born in Washington, D.C., on November 8, 1941, Kleine earned an economics degree from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) and a master's degree from Michigan State University. From 1975 to 1984, Kleine was director of the Office of Revenue and Tax Analysis, where he helped author Michigan's Single Business Tax. Michigan Governor
The governor of Michigan, is the head of government of Michigan and serves as the commander-in-chief of the state's military forces. The governor has a duty to enforce state laws; the power to either approve or veto appropriation bills passed by the Michigan Legislature; the power to convene the legislature; and the power to grant pardons, except in cases of impeachment. The governor is also empowered to reorganize the executive branch of the state government. McDaniel College
McDaniel College is a private college in Westminster, Maryland. Established in 1867, it was known as Western Maryland College until 2002 when it was renamed McDaniel College in honor of an alumnus who gave a lifetime of service to the college. The college also has a satellite campus, McDaniel College Budapest, in Budapest, Hungary. McDaniel College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Michigan State University (Michigan State, MSU) is a public university, public Land-grant university, land-grant research university in East Lansing, Michigan. Andrew Dillon is a Democratic Party politician from the U.S. state of Michigan. While Dillon is a Democrat, he was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder, a Republican, to be the state's treasurer. Before serving in the Cabinet, Dillon was speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives. In the House, he represented a constituency in Wayne County that included Redford Township, the northern portion of Dearborn Heights, and the eastern portion of Livonia.
