Robert Görlinger (29 July 1888 – 10 February 1954) was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party The name Social Democratic Party or Social Democrats has been used by many political parties in various countries around the world. He was a member of the German Bundestag from the first Bundestag elections in 1949 until his death. He had entered parliament via the North Rhine-Westphalia state list. The Bundestag (, "Federal Diet") is the German federal parliament. It is the only federal representative body that is directly elected by the German people. It is comparable to the United States House of Representatives or the House of Commons of the United Kingdom. The Bundestag was established by Title III of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany (, ) in 1949 as one of the legislative bodies of Germany and thus it is the historical successor to the earlier Reichstag. Ensheim is an ''Ortsgemeinde'' – a municipality belonging to a ''Verbandsgemeinde'', a kind of collective municipality – in the Alzey-Worms district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The Social Democratic Party of Germany (german: Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands, ; SPD, ) is a centre-left social democratic political party in Germany.
