(Robert) Anthony Daniels (born June 18, 1957)is a Canadian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church.He is the 9th Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand Falls, Newfoundland, Canada, succeeding Archbishop Martin Currie, 67, who had been the Bishop of the diocese in addition to being Archbishop of his own archdiocese, the Metropolitan Archdiocese of St. John's, Newfoundland. Biography Early life Daniels was born on June 18, 1957, in Windsor, Ontario. He was educated early on at St. Mary Goretti Elementary School, followed by St. Louis Senior and F.J. Brennan High School. A titular bishop in various churches is a bishop who is not in charge of a diocese. Richard John Grecco (born 4 March 1946) is a Canadian prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He was the 13th Bishop of Charlottetown from 2009 to 2021. Biography Born in Thorold, Ontario to Anthony and Lily Grecco, Richard Grecco attended St. Augustine's Seminary, Toronto and was ordained to the priesthood on 2 September 1973. He furthered his studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome and the University of St. Michael's College, Toronto, from where he obtained a doctorate in theology in 1982. He served as a parish priest and a professor of moral theology at St. Michael's College, Toronto and St. Joseph's College, Edmonton. Martin William Currie
Martin William Currie (born December 11, 1943) is a Canadian Catholic who was the seventh archbishop of the Archdiocese of St. John's, Newfoundland. He retired in 2018 and holds the title of Archbishop Emeritus of St. John's. He had previously served as the Bishop of Grand Falls. Life Currie was born in Marinette, a small village near Sheet Harbour, Nova Scotia, the third of nine children of Everett and Mabel (Walsh) Currie. His father was a woodsman. His paternal family is of Scottish origin and has connections to the MacDonald and MacPherson clans.
