Rob Weingartner
Rob Weingartner is an American former professional ice hockey player and coach. He coached the Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League for the 2007–08 season and the Wichita Junior Thunder of the Western States Hockey League from 2012 to 2019. On April 8, 2020, Weingartner was named the head coach of the Florida Jr. Blades of the United States Premier Hockey League's Premier Division. Used to be a janitor at Goddard high school. Assist (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to two players of the scoring team who shot, passed or deflected the puck towards the scoring teammate, or touched it in any other way which enabled the goal, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. There can be a maximum of two assists per goal. The assists will be awarded in the order of play, with the last player to pass the puck to the goal scorer getting the primary assist and the player who passed it to the primary assister getting the secondary assist. Players who gain an assist will get one point added to their player statistics. Despite the use of the terms "primary assist" and "secondary assist", neither is worth more than the other, and neither is worth more or less than a goal. Brent Bilodeau
Brent Bilodeau (born March 23, 1973) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He was drafted in the first round (17th overall) of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens while a member of the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. Professional career Player A primarily defensive defenseman, his game was thought to suit Montreal's style of play of the time, but he never played a single game for the Canadiens or any other NHL team. He is the only first round draftee of the 1991 draft not to have played any games in the NHL. He played in minor-pro hockey leagues until he retired as a member of the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL after the 2004–05 season. Coaching Shortly after his retirement, Bilodeau entered coaching. Mark French (ice Hockey)
Mark French is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach. Playing career A native of Milton, Ontario, French played college hockey at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, serving as assistant captain for three years there and received the prestigious "212 Degrees" annual award all four seasons, presented to the athlete who demonstrates leadership, commitment and excellence on the ice. Coaching career French was the head coach at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2002 to 2004. The Fort Wayne Komets are a minor league ice hockey team in the ECHL. They play their home games at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This team was previously a member of the Central Hockey League, the original International Hockey League, and the second International Hockey League. The International Hockey League (IHL) was a minor professional ice hockey league in the United States and Canada that operated from 1945 to 2001. The IHL served as the National Hockey League's alternate Farm team, farm system to the American Hockey League (AHL). After 56 years of operation, financial instability led to the league's demise. The Manitoba Moose are a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and a member of the American Hockey League (AHL).
