Right Innominate Vein
The left and right brachiocephalic veins (previously called innominate veins) are major veins in the upper chest, formed by the union of each corresponding internal jugular vein and subclavian vein. This is at the level of the sternoclavicular joint. The left brachiocephalic vein is nearly always longer than the right. These veins merge to form the superior vena cava, a great vessel, posterior to the junction of the first costal cartilage with the manubrium of the sternum. The brachiocephalic veins are the major veins returning blood to the superior vena cava. Tributaries The brachiocephalic vein is formed by the confluence of the subclavian and internal jugular veins. Riverside International Raceway
Riverside International Raceway (sometimes known as Riverside, RIR, or Riverside Raceway) was a motorsports race track and road course established in the Edgemont area of Riverside County, California, just east of the city limits of Riverside and east of Los Angeles, in 1957. In 1984, the raceway became part of the newly incorporated city of Moreno Valley. Riverside was noted for its hot, dusty environment and for being somewhat of a complicated and dangerous track for drivers. It was also considered one of the finest tracks in the United States. The track was in operation from September 22, 1957, to July 2, 1989, with the last race, The Budweiser 400, won by Rusty Wallace, held in 1988. Riversdale Mining is an Australian mining company, listed on the S&P/ASX 200. It specialises in coal mines in Africa. Tata Steel owned a stake of approximately 24% in Riversdale; Passport Capital and Brazilian steelmaker CSN also have a stake. In April 2010, Rio Tinto Group gained a majority stake. Operations In June 2010, Riversdale Mining signed an agreement with Wuhan Iron and Steel to jointly develop Riversdale's Zambeze coal reserves in Mozambique, one of the world's largest undeveloped coking coal areas; Wuhan will also buy coal from Riversdale's nearby Benga mines. Residual income valuation (RIV; also, residual income ''model'' and residual income ''method'', RIM) is an approach to equity valuation that formally accounts for the cost of equity capital. Here, "residual" means in excess of any opportunity costs measured relative to the book value of shareholders' equity; residual income (RI) is then the income generated by a firm after accounting for the true cost of capital. Augustus Quirinus Rivinus
Augustus Quirinus Rivinus (9 December 1652 – 20 December 1723), also known as August Bachmann or A. Q. Bachmann, was a German physician and botanist who helped to develop better ways of classifying plants. Life and work Rivinus was born in Leipzig, Germany, and studied at the University of Leipzig (1669–1671), continued his studies in the University of Helmstedt (where he received M.D. in 1676). In 1677, he started lecturing in medicine at the University of Leipzig, in 1691 appointed to two chairs, that of physiology and of botany, and made the curator of the University medical garden. In 1701, he became professor of pathology, in 1719, professor of therapeutics and permanent dean of the Faculty of Medicine. The same year he became a Fellow of the Royal Society. Because of his interest also in astronomy, by the last decade of his life (around 1713), Rivinus was nearly completely blind from looking at sunspots. He died in Leipzig. Riviera LRT station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station in Punggol, Singapore. Serving the east loop of the Punggol LRT line (PGLRT), the station is along Punggol East between the junctions of Punggol Central and Punggol Field. The Registrar of Imported Vehicles (RIV) is a program started by Transport Canada, and contracted to Livingston International Inc., to help regulate Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards on vehicles being imported from the U.S. into Canada. The program, which came into effect October 1, 2000, requires all vehicles newer than 15 years old being imported into Canada to meet Canadian vehicle safety specifications. Reasons for the RIV program being put into place include Canadian safety standards (for bumpers, child tether anchorage systems, daytime running lights, and passive seatbelt restraint systems specifically) being significantly stricter than the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard used in the United States.
