Ritva Valkama
Ritva Valkama-Palo (born Ritva Karin Valkama; 13 November 1932 – 8 May 2020) was a Finnish actress. She was known for her comic roles and appeared in theatres, films and on television. Television series ''Parempi myöhään...'' (1979–1980) made Valkama a household name in Finland. She starred in the show with actor Pentti Siimes, and often they were mistaken for a married couple. She has also been seen in films since 1954. Ritva Valkama's father, Reino Adolf Valkama, was also an actor. She was married to actor Pertti Palo from 1957 until his death in 2010, and together they had three daughters. On television *''Parempi myöhään...'' Pentti Kalevi Siimes (10 September 1929 – 27 October 2016) was a Finnish actor. He appeared in more than 80 films and television shows between 1946 and 2008. Siimes starred in the film ''Miriam'', which was entered into the 8th Berlin International Film Festival. His paternal grandfather was Polish. Siimes was married to actress Elina Pohjanpää from 1956 until her death in 1996. ''Borrowing Matchsticks'' (russian: За спичками, Za spichkami, fi, Tulitikkuja lainaamassa) is a Soviet–Finnish comedy film produced by Mosfilm and Suomifilm in 1980. Film based on the novel by Algot Untola. Plot Antti Ihalainen (Yevgeny Leonov) lives happily on the farm with his wife Anna-Lisa (Rita Polster). Once, when the house ran out of matches and the Ihalainens had nothing to make a fire for cooking coffee so loved by the Finns, Anna-Lisa sent her husband to a neighbor Hyvärinen (Sergei Filippov) for matches. On the way Ihalainen meets an old friend Jussi Vatanen (Vyacheslav Nevinny). Widower Jussi asks Ihalainen woo him Hyvärinen's daughter Anna-Kaisa (Vera Ivleva).
