Rita Raave
Rita Raave (born 6 April 1951) is an Estonian stage, television and film actress, and painter. Early life and education Rita Raave was born in Mõisaküla, Viljandi County in 1951 to journalist, cartoonist, Lutheran pastor, and politician Kalev Raave and Lydia Raave (''née'' Majas). She has three siblings: Raivo J. Raave, Riho Raave, and Anneli Raave-Sepp. Raave pursued a career in acting and is a 1974 graduate of the Tallinn State Conservatory (now, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre). Among her graduating classmate were Maria Klenskaja, Elle Kull, Jüri Aarma, Kaie Mihkelson and Jaan Rõõmussaar. Mõisaküla
Mõisaküla ( lv, Muižciems; Meizakila) is a town in southern Estonia, part of Mulgi Parish of Viljandi County, just next to the border of Latvia. It is considered to be the smallest town in Estonia. The town has 32 streets, with the total length of 15,5 km. There are 401 dwellings in Mõisaküla, consisting mainly of small 1- or 2-floor small houses. The closest regional centres are Viljandi (49 km away) and Pärnu (63 km). It is 189 km from the capital city, Tallinn, and 125 km from the second largest city, Tartu. Peeter Urbla (born 2 June 1945 in Türi) is an Estonian film director, producer and screenwriter. In 1969 he graduated from University of Tartu in art history speciality. In 1977 he finished his two-year courses for screenwriters and directors in Moscow. 1976–1989 he worked as a film director and screenwriter at Tallinnfilm and at Eesti Telefilm. Rauni Mollberg
Rauni Mollberg (April 15, 1929 – October 11, 2007) was a Finnish film director who directed movies and TV movies. In 1963 Mollberg directed movies for YLE. He directed a version of '' The Unknown Soldier'' in 1985, 30 years after Edvin Laine directed the original version of it. Mollberg's movie's plot was same as Laine's movie. But Mollberg used unknown actors and the movie was colourised and shot by a handhold camera. Mollberg did not begin directing films for the cinema until he was well into his forties. Teet Kallas (born 6 April 1943, Tallinn) is an Estonian writer and former politician, most notable for voting for the Estonian restoration of Independence. Life and work Kallas attended middle school in Tallinn from 1954 to 1962. He left the school without a degree. From 1962 to 1965, he was a soldier in the Red Army in Palanga. He then began his literary and journalistic career. In 1958, Kallas debuted as a writer in short prose in Estonian newspapers. After a few short prose texts and writing youth literature, his debut novel, ''Nii palju päikest'', was released in 1964. Tallinnfilm
Tallinnfilm is the oldest surviving film studio in Estonia. It was founded as Estonian Culture Film in 1931, and was nationalized in 1940 after Estonia was forced into the Soviet Union. During the first year of Soviet Occupation (1940–1941) ''Eesti Kultuurfilm'' was taken over by the Communist Party and renamed ''Kinokroonika Eesti Stuudio'' (the Estonian Newsreel Studio). In 1942 during the German occupation the studio was renamed ''Kinokroonika Tallinna Stuudio'' (the Tallinn Newsreel Studio) and then renamed again as ''Tallinna Kinostuudio'' (the Tallinn Film Studio) in 1947 by the Soviets. The Tallinn Film Studio was renamed ''Kunstiliste ja Kroonikafilmide Tallinna Kinostuudio'' (Tallinn Feature and Newsreel Film Studio) in 1954 and in 1963 was renamed again Tallinnfilm.
