Rim Jong-sim
Rim Jong-sim ( or ; born 5 February 1993) is a North Korean weightlifter, two time Olympic Champion, World Champion, Asian Games gold and bronze medalist, and Asian Champion competing in the 69 kg and 75 kg category until 2018 and 76 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. Career She won the gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics at the women's 69 kg event. Im (Korean Surname)
Im or Lim is a common Korean family name. The surname is identical to the Chinese character of the same name. According to the initial law of the Korean language, both "Im" and "Lim" are interchangeable. History The first clan branch is the Supul Rim (수풀 림, meaning "Forest-Rim") and its Hanja character is 林. Asian Games
The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The Games were regulated by the Asian Games Federation (AGF) from the first Games in New Delhi, India, until the 1978 Games. The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), headquartered in Lausanne, is the international governing body for the sport of Olympic weightlifting. The IWF was founded in 1905, and has 192 Member Federations. The IWF President is Mohammed Hasan Jalood of Iraq.
