Giovanni Korporaal
Giovanni Korporaal (February14, 1930?February9, 2004), also known as John Korporaal or Giovanni Corporale, was a Dutch actor, video editor, screenwriter and film director who made a career in Mexico. His debut film, ''El Brazo Fuerte'' (The Strong Arm, 1958), a political satire that was barred from cinema exhibitions until 1974, is recognized as groundbreaking. In the Netherlands he directed two movies, De vergeten medeminnaar (The forgotten co-lover, 1963) and Rififi in Amsterdam (1962 film), Rififi in Amsterdam (1962). Biography Sources do not agree on his year of birth: around 1930 in Venice. Korporaal was the son of a Dutch father and a French mother. His father was journalist and correspondent in Italy. Antonius Johannes Geesink (6 April 1934 – 27 August 2010) was a Dutch people, Dutch List of judoka#Highest grades, 10th dan judoka. He was the first non-Japanese judoka to win gold at the World Judo Championship, a feat he accomplished in 1961 World Judo Championships, 1961 and 1965 World Judo Championships, 1965. He was also an Olympic Champion, having Judo at the 1964 Summer Olympics, won gold at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Japan, and won a record 21 European Judo Championships during his career. Willy Alberti
Willy Alberti (born Carel Verbrugge; 14 October 1926 – 18 February 1985) was a Dutch singer, who sang in Dutch and Italian. He was also an actor and a radio and TV personality. Alberti was born in Amsterdam as the third of eight children to Jacobus Wilhelm Verbrugge and Sophia Jacoba van Musscher. He sang with family members at a very young age. He began recording professionally in the early 1940s. In 1944 he married Ria Kuiper and his daughter Willeke Alberti, later to become a successful Dutch vocalist herself, was born in 1945.
