Riego Meinardo Villa Gamalinda (born May 25, 1986 in Iligan City) is a Filipino professional basketball player who last played for the San Miguel Beermen of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted 11th overall in 2010 by the Bolts. He was one of the key players of the San Beda Red Lions during its three peat run from 2006 to 2008. Professional career In the 2010 PBA draft, he was drafted 11th overall by the Bolts. He played primarily as a backup guard/forward to Mark Cardona and had limited minutes. At the off-season, he and Shawn Weinstein were traded to the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters. He was traded along with Rabeh Al-Hussaini and Pamboy Raymundo in a three-way trade involving Air21 Express and Meralco Bolts. He was waived after. The San Beda Red Lions is the collegiate varsity basketball team of the San Beda University that plays in the NCAA. The juniors basketball team is called the Red Cubs of San Beda University–Rizal, while the women's varsity basketball team is called the Red Lionesses. Christopher Joyce Fernando Javier (born December 6, 1992) is a Filipino professional basketball player who last played for the NorthPort Batang Pier of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was drafted 5th overall by Star in the 2016 PBA draft. Allein Gail Q. Maliksi (born September 18, 1987) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Meralco Bolts of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 2015–16 PBA season was the 41st season of the Philippine Basketball Association. The league continued to use the three-conference format, starting with the Philippine Cup. The Commissioner's Cup and the Governors' Cup were the second and third conferences of the season. This season was also the first season of Chito Narvasa as the PBA commissioner when Chito Salud announced his resignation at the end of the 2014–15 season. Salud remained with the PBA as he was the new president and CEO of the league. The 2014–15 PBA season was the 40th season of the Philippine Basketball Association. The season formally opened on October 19, 2014 and finished on July 17, 2015. The league continued to use the three-conference format, starting with the Philippine Cup. 2014 PBA Expansion Draft
The 2014 PBA Expansion Draft is the third expansion draft of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The draft was held on July 18, 2014, so that the newly founded teams Blackwater Elite and the Kia Sorento could acquire players for the 2014–15 season. A "protect 12" scheme was implemented for the draft, meaning that the 10 existing PBA teams could protect up to 12 players in their rosters and unconditionally release their unprotected players to the expansion pool. This was the first expansion draft held by the PBA since 2000, when Batang Red Bull Energizers entered the league as an expansion team. The draft was closed to the public as the final list was distributed only to the expansion clubs. John Murphy "Pamboy" Raymundo (born May 30, 1989) is a Filipino professional basketball player who plays for the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). He was drafted 12th overall in 2011 by the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters. He also played in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL). Rabeh Ahmed T. Al-Hussaini (born August 11, 1988) is a Filipino professional basketball player who last played for the Blackwater Elite of the PBA. A power forward/center, he played five seasons for the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines from 2005 to 2009 and led the Eagles to back-to-back basketball championships in his last two seasons with them.
