Ridgewood High School, Wollaston
Ridgewood High School is a coeducational secondary school, a part of the Stour Vale Academy Trust situated in Wollaston (near Stourbridge), in the West Midlands county of England. History Ridgewood High School opened in September on the merger of High Park School and Longlands School (former secondary modern schools), and exists within the buildings of High Park School, which were laid out some thirty years earlier. The reorganization of schools which saw the creation of Ridgewood was part of borough-wide changes in 1989 and 1990 which saw another new school, ( Castle High), being created by a merger of two schools as well as two small secondary schools closing down. In the autumn of 2008, a new building was added which included a dance studio, music rooms, Science lab and ICT suites. Academy (English School)

Wollaston, West Midlands
Wollaston is a village on the outskirts of Stourbridge in the English West Midlands. It is located in the south of the Dudley Metropolitan Borough, one mile from Stourbridge town centre. History Until 1974 when the West Midlands Metropolitan County was created, Wollaston was in Worcestershire. Wollaston Hall Wollaston Hall was a 17th-century mansion which stood in the village until 1924. It was later disassembled and shipped to North America, although nobody has been able to determine what happened to it after that. Panelling and a fireplace from the Hall are now in the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan, which bears a striking resemblance to the original Hall. Stourbridge is a market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the West Midlands, England, situated on the River Stour. Secondary Modern School
A secondary modern school is a type of secondary school that existed throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland from 1944 until the 1970s under the Tripartite System. Schools of this type continue in Northern Ireland, where they are usually referred to as ''secondary schools'', and in areas of England, such as Buckinghamshire (where they are referred to as ''community schools''), Lincolnshire and Wirral, (where they are called ''high schools''). Castle High School (Dudley)
St James Academy is a secondary school located in Dudley, West Midlands, England for pupils 11 to 16 years. It is also a specialist Arts College. The academy was formed in 2017 from Castle High School as part of the Dudley Academies Trust, in association with Dudley College. The new name was officially adopted in September 2018. History The St James Academy is situated on St James's Road, near Dudley town centre, within the buildings of the former Dudley Grammar School (which dated back to 1897; the school was originally established at a different site in 1562). The grammar school was merged with neighbouring Dudley Girls High School and the Park Secondary Modern Boys and Girls Schools in September 1975 to become the Dudley School, a mixed 12-18 comprehensive school.
