Rick Norlock
Richard "Rick" Norlock (born March 7, 1948) served as the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for the riding of Northumberland—Quinte West in the House of Commons of Canada from 2006 to 2015. Career Norlock worked for the Ontario Provincial Police as a police officer for over 30 years. He has been the president of the Warkworth Community Service Club, and the director of the Campbellford Rotary Club. He is a board member of the Social Housing Authority in Cobourg, a former member of the Ontario Film Review Board, a board member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Quinte Chapter, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He is the past president of the Conservative Party of Canada Northumberland—Quinte West Electoral District Association. Northumberland—Quinte West was a federal electoral district (Canada), electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 2004 to 2013. Its population in 2001 was 118,906. The Royal Canadian Legion is a non-profit Canadian ex-service organization (veterans' organization) founded in 1925. Northumberland (Ontario Electoral District)
Northumberland was a federal and provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1917 to 1968 and from 1987 to 2003, ad in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1999 to 2007. This riding was first created in 1914 from Northumberland East and Northumberland West ridings. It initially consisted of the county of Northumberland, excluding the township of Monaghan South. In 1947, South Monghan was added to the riding, so that it consisted of the county of Northumberland. It was abolished in 1966 when it was redistributed between Northumberland—Durham and Prince Edward—Hastings ridings. In 1976, Northumberland riding was recreated from parts of those two ridings. Cobourg, Ontario
Cobourg ( ) is a town in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in Southern Ontario east of Toronto and east of Oshawa. It is the largest town in and seat of Northumberland County.
