Rick Hofstra (born 21 April 1977) is a former Dutch professional darts player. Career Hofstra reached the quarter finals of the 2001 Belgium Open and the 2002 Swiss Open before making his major debut in the 2003 International Darts League, where he beat Scotland's Bob Taylor in his opening group game before losing to Raymond van Barneveld. Hofstra then beat Co Stompé to qualify for the second group stage where he lost all three group games to Andy Fordham, Tony David and Jarkko Komula. He then lost in the first round of the 2003 World Darts Trophy, losing to Tony West and then lost in the first round of the 2003 Winmau World Masters to Martin Adams. Tony West (born 7 July 1972) is an English former professional darts player. Darts career BDO career Winmau World Masters West's biggest successes have come at the Winmau World Masters. He reached the final in 2002 but was beaten by 7-4 by Mark Dudbridge. In 2003, he made the semi-finals where he played Ted Hankey. Stephen Bunting
Stephen Bunting (born 9 April 1985) is an English professional darts player who competes in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Nicknamed The Bullet, Bunting won the 2014 BDO World Darts Championship and is a twice former World Masters champion. Darts career Beginnings Bunting won both the British Teenage Open and the World Youth Masters in 2001 and also captured the WDF Europe Youth Cup in 2002. He made his BDO World Darts Championship debut in 2004 aged 18, where he beat Vincent van der Voort in the first round before losing in the second round to former World Champion Ted Hankey. Remco van Eijden (born 12 September 1977) is a Dutch former darts player. Career Van Eijden previously played in the British Darts Organisation and he played in the 2008 BDO World Darts Championship, beating fellow Dutchman Mario Robbe in the first round, only to lost in the second round to third seed Scott Waites. In November 2008, van Eijden began playing on the PDC circuit, playing in the two PDPA Players Championships in the Netherlands, reaching the quarter finals in the second event. The 2014 Lakeside World Professional Darts Championship was the 37th World Championship organised by the British Darts Organisation, and the 29th staging at the Lakeside Country Club at Frimley Green. Scott Waites was the defending men's champion, having won the title for the first time in the 2013 championship, but he was defeated 0–3 in the first round by eventual runner-up Alan Norris, who in turn lost to first seed Stephen Bunting in the final. Paul Hanvidge
Paul Albert Hanvidge (born 15 June 1961) is a former Scottish professional darts player. His best achievement is reaching the quarter-finals of the Lakeside World Championship twice. Career Hanvidge was the 2005 German Open Champion and made his World Championship debut in 2004, losing a first round match to Jarkko Komula. He missed out on qualification for the event in 2005, but returned in 2006 and beat Co Stompé and Simon Whitlock before losing 3–5 to Shaun Greatbatch in the last eight. He made the quarterfinals again in 2007, beating Martin Phillips and Albertino Essers before losing to 50-year-old qualifier, Phill Nixon, in the quarterfinals. Mervyn King (darts Player)
Mervyn King (born 15 March 1966) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. Nicknamed The King, he has reached seven PDC major TV finals and reached a peak of No. 4 in the PDC Order of Merit. Early life King first took up the game at the age of 12, playing with an old rolled-cardboard dartboard given to him by his father. His father insisted that he played darts using competition distance and height. By the age of 13, he had ambitions to become a professional player as he was playing county darts at Superleague level.
