Richard Young (cinematographer)
Richard Young (October 17, 1939 – December 15, 2010) was a cinematographer and film director who was born in Penfield, New York, United States. Life and work As a cinematographer, he filmed several dozen films for Eastman Kodak. He codirected the 1996 film '' I'm Still Here: The Truth About Schizophrenia'' with Robert Bilheimer. He was the director of the 1998 film ''Echoes from the Ancients''. He codirected and coproduced the 1999 film ''A Warrior in Two Worlds: The Life of Ely Parker'' with Ann Spurling. He performed the cinematography for the 2003 documentary film '' A Closer Walk''. Young died on December 15, 2010. Richard Young (bishop Of Athabasca)
Richard Young (September 7, 1843 – July 12, 1905) was a bishop in Rupert's Land. Young was born and educated in England. After being ordained as a priest in the Church of England in 1869, Young moved with his wife Julia Heurtley Harrison (1844-1934) to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1875, where they started a family. In 1883 he became bishop of the see of Athabasca in present-day northern Alberta, the first Anglican bishop to be consecrated in western Canada. In 1903 he resigned as bishop due to ill health and returned to England, where he lived until his death in 1905. Richard Whitehead Young (April 19, 1858 – December 27, 1919) was a U.S. Army brigadier general and an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines during the time that the Philippines was a U.S. Territory. Young was born in Salt Lake City in 1858, to Joseph A. Young and his second (plural) wife, Margaret Whitehead. Joseph Young was the son of Brigham Young and his wife, Mary Ann Angell. Young was raised for the first few years of his life in Salt Lake City: in the Beehive House, the adjoining Lion House, and in a house his parents owned on what is now the site of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. His photography career started in 1974 and since then, he has photographed personalities such as Diana, Princess of Wales, Elizabeth Taylor, and Mick Jagger. Early life Young grew up in North London.
