Richard Young (cinematographer)
Richard Young (October 17, 1939 – December 15, 2010) was a cinematographer and film director who was born in Penfield, New York, United States. Life and work As a cinematographer, he filmed several dozen films for Eastman Kodak. He codirected the 1996 film '' I'm Still Here: The Truth About Schizophrenia'' with Robert Bilheimer. He was the director of the 1998 film ''Echoes from the Ancients''. He codirected and coproduced the 1999 film ''A Warrior in Two Worlds: The Life of Ely Parker'' with Ann Spurling. He performed the cinematography for the 2003 documentary film '' A Closer Walk''. Young died on December 15, 2010. Robert Bilheimer is the American director of Worldwide Documentaries. He is the son of American Presbyterian theologian Robert S. Bilheimer.Rhodes, p. 32. Bilheimer received an Academy Award nomination for his film ''The Cry of Reason''. ''Stone Canoe'' is a literary magazine published annually by The YMCA's Downtown Writers Center in Syracuse, New York ( "The DWC"). A film producer is a person who oversees film production. Either employed by a production company or working independently, producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production, such as selecting the script, coordinating writing, directing, editing, and arranging financing. The producer is responsible for finding and selecting promising material for development. Unless the film is based on an existing script, the producer hires a screenwriter and oversees the script's development. Cinema Politica
Cinema Politica (CP) is a non-profit media arts organization based in Montreal with nearly 100 screening locations all over the world (as of September 2011). Each chapter ("local") screens independent political documentaries for free or by donation to audiences, with guest filmmakers and speakers often invited to participate. CP claims to be the "largest volunteer-run, community and campus-based documentary-screening network in the world."
