Richard Skog
Richard Skog (born 16 June 1981) is a Norwegian strongman competitor. Before life as strongman he was a member of the Norwegian Armed Forces. Strongman career He was a part of the World's Strongest Man competition for four straight years in 2007-2010, but has yet to qualify for the finals. Skog also placed third at two World's Strongest Man Super Series events in 2008. He placed second in Norway's Strongest Viking and Viking Power Challenge in 2009. Skog has won the Norway's Strongest Man competition twice, in 2009 and 2010, his career best wins. Acting Skog played the role of Oddjob, Frank Tagliano's bodyguard, in the Netflix original series '' Lilyhammer''. NRK1 (pronounced as ''"NRK en"'' or ''"- ein"'') is the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's (NRK) main television channel. History Test broadcasts started on 12 January 1954, regular test broadcasts started on 13 April 1958 and regular broadcasts started on 20 August 1960. ''Lilyhammer'' is a crime comedy-drama television series starring Steven Van Zandt about a former New York-based gangster named Frank "The Fixer" Tagliano trying to start a new life in isolated Lillehammer, Norway. The first season premiered on Norwegian NRK1 on 25 January 2012 with a record audience of 998,000 viewers (one fifth of Norway's population), and premiered on Netflix in North America on 6 February 2012, with all eight episodes available in full for streaming on the service. ''Lilyhammer'' was promoted as "the first time Netflix offered exclusive content". The spelling of the series title alludes to Tagliano's dog Lily, killed in the first episode during an attempt on Tagliano's life, and the way that Tagliano and some other anglophones pronounce the town's name. World's Strongest Man Super Series
The Strongman Super Series, known from 2001 to 2004 as the ''IFSA World Strongman Super Series'', from 2005 to 2008 as the ''World's Strongest Man Super Series'', and reverting in 2009 to the ''World Strongman Super Series'', is a sequence of grand prix events in the sport of strength athletics. It was introduced in 2001 in response to concerns that, unlike other individual sports such as golf or tennis, there was no recognized international "tour" in strength athletics. The Strongman Super Series ensures that there are a number of high-profile, professionally run contests during the year, with competitors' placings being used to decide the overall Super Series Champion.
