Richard Rossi
Richard Rossi is an American filmmaker, actor, writer, talk radio host, musician, and former evangelical minister. Among Rossi's projects are the film ''Canaan Land'' which contained five of Rossi's songs that made the song list for Oscar consideration, '' Baseball's Last Hero: 21 Clemente Stories'', a biopic on the life of Roberto Clemente and two films about evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson. In 1995 Rossi went on trial for the attempted murder of his wife. She recanted her original identification of Rossi as her attacker and espoused his innocence. The case ended in a mistrial and was front-page news in Rossi's adopted hometown of Pittsburgh and was widely covered as something of a ''cause célèbre'' by syndicated television news programs. Born-again
Born again, or to experience the new birth, is a phrase, particularly in evangelicalism, that refers to a "spiritual rebirth", or a regeneration of the human spirit. In contrast to one's physical birth, being "born again" is distinctly and separately caused by baptism in the Holy Spirit, it is not caused by baptism in water. It is a core doctrine of the denominations of the Anabaptist, Moravian, Methodist, Quaker, Baptist, Plymouth Brethren and Pentecostal Churches along with all other evangelical Christian denominations. All of these Churches strongly believe Jesus's words in the Gospels: "You must be born again before you can see, or enter, the Kingdom of Heaven." ''Jerry Springer'' is an American scripted syndicated tabloid talk show that aired from September 30, 1991 to July 26, 2018. Produced and hosted by its namesake, Jerry Springer, it aired for 27 seasons and nearly 5,000 episodes. The television series was produced and aired by NBCUniversal and CW for over 26 years, peaking in popularity around 1997 and 1998 amongst a predominantly American audience. The program was unsuccessful in ratings in its first seasons due to its focus on more political issues. WPIT (730 AM) is a commercial radio station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It carries a Christian talk and teaching radio format. At night, Christian contemporary music is heard. WPIT is licensed to the Salem Communications Holding Corporation, which is owned by the Salem Media Group. The studios are at Parkway Center in Pittsburgh. By day, WPIT is powered at 5,000 watts; because 730 AM is a Canadian and Mexican clear channel frequency WPIT must reduce power to only 24 watts at night, to avoid interference. Cranberry Township is a municipality in Butler County, Pennsylvania. The population was 33,096 as of the 2020 census. The charismatic movement in Christianity is a movement within established or mainstream Christian denominations to adopt beliefs and practices of Charismatic Christianity with an emphasis on baptism with the Holy Spirit, and the use of spiritual gifts ('' charismata''). It has affected most denominations in the US, and has spread widely across the world. The movement is deemed to have begun in 1960 in Anglicanism, and spread to other mainstream protestant denominations, including Lutherans and Presbyterians by 1962 and to Roman Catholicism by 1967.
