Richard Lewis (Australian Politician)
Kennon Richard Lewis (4 September 1939 – 3 March 2019) was an Australian politician who was a Liberal Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia from 1986 to 1996, representing the seats of East Melville (1986 to 1989) and Applecross (1989 to 1996). Born in East Fremantle, Lewis attended Fremantle Boys' School and Scotch College before going on to Perth Technical College, where he trained as a cartographer and surveyor. Prior to entering politics, he worked in various surveying and urban development roles, eventually becoming managing director of a consulting surveying firm. Graham Kierath
Graham Donald Kierath (born 21 July 1950) is a former Australian politician who served 11 years in the Parliament of Western Australia. He is best known for his five-year term as Western Australian Minister for Labour Relations. Political career Kierath was elected to the seat of Riverton in the Western Australian Legislative Assembly at the 1989 Western Australian election, representing the Liberal Party. After the election of Richard Court as Western Australian Premier in 1993, Kierath was appointed as Minister for Labour Relations. Soon after taking on the role, he initiated the first of what were to become three waves of industrial relations changes. The first wave involved legislation to allow employees to directly negotiate workplace contracts with employers.
