Richard Iwai
Richard Iwai (born 15 March 1979, Vanuatu) is a former Vanuatuan international footballer who played most of his career for Tafea as a forward. He's currently assistant coach of Ifira Black Bird and the head coach of the Vanuatu under-23 team. Career Club career Iwai began his career in Vanuatu with Tafea. Also he played in Fiji for Suva and in Australia for Mitchelton. In 2008, he return to Tafea. The 2007 Pacific Games men's football tournament was held at the Toleafoa J.S. Blatter Complex in Apia, Samoa in from 25 August to 7 September 2007. 2004 OFC Nations Cup
The 2004 OFC Nations Cup was the edition of the tournament for the OFC Nations Cup and doubled as the qualification tournament to the 2006 FIFA World Cup, except the two-legged final. A separate playoff between Australia and Solomon Islands was held in September 2005, for World Cup Qualifying purposes. The competition was divided in two Group stages (the first is the Qualifying Stage), with Australia and New Zealand seeded into the second stage (Final Stage). The Oceania champion (Australia) qualified for the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup. Qualification The 10 teams in the first round were divided into two sections of five teams each. Marden Sports Complex is a multi-use stadium in Marden, South Australia. It is mainly used for soccer and is the home ground for National Premier League side Adelaide Blue Eagles.
