Richard C. Leone
Richard Carl Leone (April 30, 1940 - July 16, 2015) was an American Democratic Party politician who served as New Jersey State Treasurer from 1974 to 1977 and as Chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey from 1990 to 1994. Leone also worked for Lyndon B. Johnson, Robert F. Kennedy and Edmund Muskie. Early life Leone was born in Webster, New York on April 30, 1940, the son of Santo Leone, who was the operations director for Page Airways and Lucy Penello Leone. He was a 1965 graduate of the University of Rochester and later earned masters and doctoral degrees from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. Charles W
The F/V ''Charles W'', also known as Annie J Larsen, is a historic fishing schooner anchored in Petersburg, Alaska. At the time of its retirement in 2000, it was the oldest fishing vessel in the fishing fleet of Southeast Alaska, and the only known wooden fishing vessel in the entire state still in active service. Launched in 1907, she was first used in the halibut fisheries of Puget Sound and the Bering Sea as the ''Annie J Larsen''. In 1925 she was purchased by the Alaska Glacier Seafood Company, refitted for shrimp trawling, and renamed ''Charles W'' in honor of owner Karl Sifferman's father. The company was one of the pioneers of the local shrimp fishery, a business it began to phase out due to increasing competition in the 1970s. Thomas Howard Kean ( ; born April 21, 1935) is an American businessman, academic administrator and politician. A member of the Republican Party, Kean served as the 48th governor of New Jersey from 1982 to 1990. Following his tenure as governor, Kean served as the president of Drew University for 15 years, retiring in 2005. In 2002, Kean was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as chairman of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, widely known as the 9/11 Commission. William Warren Bradley (born July 28, 1943) is an American politician and former professional basketball player. He served three terms as a Democratic U.S. senator from New Jersey (1979–1997). He ran for the Democratic Party's nomination for president in the 2000 election, which he lost to Vice President Al Gore. Early life Angelo Joseph Errichetti grew up in poverty in Camden, the sixth of seven children of immigrants from Italy. His father, from Ruoti, Italy, worked stoking coal. Frank Joseph Guarini (born August 20, 1924) is an American Democratic Party politician, who represented New Jersey in the United States House of Representatives, where he represented the Fourteenth Congressional District for seven terms from 1979 to 1993.
