Ralph Graves
Ralph Graves (born Ralph Horsburgh; January 23, 1900 – February 18, 1977) was an American screenwriter, film director and actor who appeared in more than 90 films between 1918 and 1949. Biography Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Graves had already been cast in 46 films, half of them produced by Mack Sennett, before he wrote, directed, and starred in ''Swell Hogan'' in 1926. That film was produced by Howard Hughes, whose father had once supported the young actor in the early stages of his career by placing him on the payroll of the Hughes Tool Company between screen assignments, even though Graves never actually worked there. Graves and the younger Hughes met on the Wilshire Country Club golf course, and over lunch the actor pitched a film about a Bowery bum who adopts a baby. The plot intrigued Hughes, who had a strong interest in Hollywood, and he invested $40,000 in the project. George Fawcett
George Fawcett (August 25, 1860 – June 6, 1939) was an American stage and film actor of the silent era. Biography Born in Alexandria, Virginia, in 1860, Fawcett graduated from the University of Virginia. His initial inclination was to be an attorney, but he became a Shakespearean actor instead. Fawcett had his own acting troupe, the Fawcett Stock Company. He appeared on stage in such plays as ''Ghosts'' (1905) with Mary Shaw, ''The Squaw Man'' (1905) with William Faversham, ''The Great John Ganton'' (1909) with an up-and-coming actress Laurette Taylor in the cast, and ''Getting a Polish'' (1910) with actress May Irwin. Fawcett's film debut came in 1915 in ''The Majesty of the Law'', and he appeared in 151 films between 1915 and 1933. He also directed films. Johnny Fox (actor)
John Fox (5 April 1948 – 17 March 1995) was an Irish independent politician and Teachta Dála (TD) for Wicklow. He was a member of the Church of Ireland. A farmer before entering politics, he was elected a Fianna Fáil member for Greystones on Wicklow County Council. He resigned from Fianna Fáil in 1992 and he was elected to the 27th Dáil at the 1992 general election. After his death at the age of 46 in 1995, his Dáil seat was won by his daughter Mildred Fox, who was re-elected at the 1997 and 2002 general elections. Frances Raymond
Frances Raymond (1869–1961) was an American stage and film actress.Goble p.193 An established character actress, she played in a number of supporting roles during the silent era. Later, during the sound era, she primarily played much smaller, uncredited parts. Raymond was the daughter of Frederick Lapzieu of Brooklyn. Career Raymond's acting career ended in 1894. She acted with the Frohman road companies and had been performing in ''The Girl I Left Behind Me'' in Memphis when she and the management parted ways. Management of Charles Frohman's company said that she had been incompetent, while she said that she angered a company official by resisting his advances. Turning from acting to writing, Raymond spent almost three years working on a novel, ''Maylou'', which the G. W. Dillingham Company published in 1897.
