Rich Fitzgerald
Rich Fitzgerald (born May 8, 1959) is an American elected official who serves as the 3rd County Executive of Allegheny County. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as a member oAllegheny County Councilfrom 2000 until 2011 as the District 11 representative. Education/Early Career Fitzgerald attended Carnegie Mellon University. Political career Allegheny County Council Fitzgerald became the firsCounty Councilmember for District 11 in January 2000 and held the seat through 2011. From 2004-2011, he served as the President of Council. Allegheny County Executive Fitzgerald was sworn into office as County Executive on January 3, 2012. Personal life Fitzgerald is married to pharmacist Cathy Tomasovich. They reside in Squirrel Hill and had eight children. Allegheny County () is a county in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is located in Southwestern Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 1,250,578, making it the state's second-most populous county, following Philadelphia County. The county seat is Pittsburgh. Dan Onorato
Daniel Onorato (born February 5, 1961) is an American Democratic politician from the state of Pennsylvania. He served as the chief executive of Allegheny County from 2004 to 2012, and in 2010, he was the Democratic nominee for governor. He lost to State Attorney General Tom Corbett in the general election. Onorato is currently the chief corporate affairs officer at Highmark Health. Early life, education and family A life-long resident of Allegheny County, Onorato attended Penn State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1983.
