Ricardo Delgado (comics)
Ricardo Delgado is a film and comic book artist who has worked on films including ''Dinosaur (2000 film), Dinosaur'', ''The Incredibles'', ''Men in Black (1997 film), Men in Black'' and ''Apollo 13 (film), Apollo 13''. He is the author and creator of the comic book series ''Age of Reptiles (comics), Age of Reptiles'' which won an Eisner Awards, Eisner award for Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition in 1997. Delgado was an illustrator in Herman F. Zimmerman’s design team on the pilot and first season of ''Star Trek: Deep Space Nine'', contributing towards the design of the exteriors and interiors of the Deep Space Nine (fictional space station), station itself, storyboarding the series opening titles under Dan Curry’s direction, and providing a fresh set of eyes compared to his colleagues like Zimmerman and Rick Sternbach who had come from previous Star Trek series and movies. Rick Sternbach
Richard Michael Sternbach (born 1951 in Bridgeport, Connecticut) is an illustrator who is best known for his space illustrations and his work on the ''Star Trek'' television series. Early years Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in 1969 Sternbach enrolled at the University of Connecticut with an art major, but after a couple of years switched to marine biology. After leaving University, he became an illustrator for books and magazines, with his first cover illustration published on the October 1973 issue of ''Analog'' magazine. During 1974 to 1976 he produced several original works of art for the Gengras Planetarium, part of the Children's Museum of West Hartford, in Connecticut. The works included airbrush paintings of the Earth as a primeval planet. It is unknown if these works are still in possession of CMWH, the original owner and client of Sternbach.
