Reusch is a worldwide operating manufacturer of sports equipment for football (mainly goalkeeper gloves) and winter sports. History In 1934, Karl Reusch manufactured his first pair of gloves in the attic of his home. The first pairs were sewn by hand. In 1972, he developed the first glove for professional alpine athletes. Together with his son Gebhard, Reusch entered the industry with a collection of specially designed winter gloves. One year later in co-operation with German goalkeeper Sepp Maier, Gebhard Reusch developed the first goalkeeper glove with a latex palm in history. In 1989, Reusch introduced its first skiing apparel and 3 years later the first team sport collection. In the beginning of 2000, Reusch expanded their product portfolio with helmets and goggles. After 2004 Reusch focussed on developing and delivering alpine and goalkeeper gloves for amateurs and professionals. Franz Heinrich Reusch
Franz Heinrich Reusch (4 December 1825 – 3 March 1900) was an Old Catholic theologian. He was born at Brilon, in Westphalia, studied general literature at Paderborn, and theology at Bonn, Tübingen and Munich. The friend and pupil of Döllinger, he took his degree of Doctor in Theology at Munich. He was ordained a priest in 1849, and was immediately made chaplain at Cologne. In 1854 he became ''Privatdozent'' in the exegesis of the Old Testament in the Catholic Theological Faculty at Bonn; in 1858 he was made extraordinary, and in 1861 ordinary, professor of theology in the same university. From 1866 to 1877 he was editor of the ''Bonner Theologisches Literaturblatt''. In the controversies on the infallibility of the Pope, Reusch belonged to Döllinger's party, and he and his colleagues Bernhard Josef Hilgers, Franz Peter Knoodt and Joseph Langen were interdicted by the Archbishop of Cologne in 1871 from pursuing their courses of lectures. Friedrich Reusch
Johann Friedrich Reusch (5 September 1843, Siegen - 15 October 1906, Agrigento) was a German sculptor and art teacher. Biography He was born to a long-established family of craftsmen. His father was a master carpenter. Initially, he was going to follow him into the carpentry trade, but his artistic talents were noticed by the sculptor, August Kiss, who advised him to go to Berlin to study. There, he attended the Prussian Academy of Arts until 1867, after which he worked at the studios of Albert Wolff, whom he assisted on an equestrian monument to King Frederick William III. In 1872, he was awarded a scholarship by the Michael Beer Foundation, enabling him to study in Rome. After his return to Berlin in 1874, he went into business as a freelance sculptor. His major works include the marble group, “Marktverkehr" (Market traffic, 1879, now lost) for the Belle-Alliance Bridge (now the ), and “Der Dämon des Dampfes" (The Demon of Steam, 1880) for the Technical University. ... Hans Henrik Reusch
Hans Henrik Reusch (5 September 1852 – 27 October 1922) was a Norwegian geologist, geomorphologist and educator. He served as director of the Geological Survey of Norway. Biography Born in Bergen, he was educated at the University of Leipzig and Heidelberg University. He graduated Ph.D. at the University of Christiania (now University of Oslo) in 1883. He was married to the painter Helga Marie Ring Reusch He joined the Geological Survey of Norway in 1875, and was its Director from 1888 to 1921. He was a Sturgis Hooper Professor of Geology at Harvard University (1897–98). He is distinguished for his research on the crystalline schists and the Palaeozoic rocks of Norway. He discovered Silurian fossils in the highly altered rocks of the Bergen region; and in 1891 he called attention to the so-called "Reusch's Moraine" a Precambrian conglomerate of glacial origin in the Varanger Fjord, a view confirmed by A. Helga Marie Ring Reusch
Helga Marie Ring Reusch (1865–1944) was a Norwegian painter. Biography Falsen was born 29 May 1865 in Fredrikstad. In the late 1800s she traveled to France, Spain, Italy and the United States. She studied with Erik Werenskiold, Hans Heyerdahl, Eilif Peterssen, Gerhard Munthe, and Pierre Puvis de Chavannes. She was married to the Norwegian geologist Hans Henrik Reusch (1852–1922). Falsen exhibited frequently at the ''Høstutstillingen''. She exhibited her work at the Palace of Fine Arts at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. She won a Bronze Medal at the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris. Falsen died 13 October 1944 in Hvalstad Hvalstad is a village and a small part of the municipality of Asker. Kina Reusch
Kina Reusch (1940–1988) was a Canadian artist based in Montreal, Quebec. Resuch's work ''Torii'' was part of the Corridart exhibition during the 1976 Montreal Olympics, which was taken down after six days by the City of Montreal. In 1977 Reusch was hired as the director of Montreal's Galerie Powerhouse, a presentation centre dedicated to art made by women. Her work is included in the collections of the National Gallery of Canada and the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec. Roman Reusch (born 3 February 1954) is a German politician for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) and since 2017 member of the Bundestag. Life and politics Reusch was born 1954 in the West German city of Düsseldorf and studied jurisprudence from 1978 to 1983 in Berlin. Reusch became a senior prosecutor (Oberstaatsanwalt) in 2003 in Berlin, but he was relocated to Brandenburg in 2008.
