Return Of The King (comics)
"Return of the King" is a 2009 ''Daredevil'' story arc written by Ed Brubaker with art by Michael Lark and David Aja and published by Marvel Comics. The story arc appeared in ''Daredevil'' vol. 2 #116-119 & 500 (the volume being renumbered) and was Ed Brubaker's final story arc on the character. The story saw Kingpin’s return to the United States and team up with Daredevil to take down a common enemy. Plot synopsis Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, flees to Europe to escape a life of crime, where he meets a woman and befriends her children. Fisk starts to see the woman and her children more often, until they are killed by the Hand. Lady Bullseye, one of the Hand’s assassins, claims Daredevil sent her. Back in New York City, Daredevil learns that Fisk has returned and allies with him to take down the Hand. Warren Simons
A warren is a network of wild rodent or lagomorph, typically rabbit burrows. Domestic warrens are artificial, enclosed establishment of animal husbandry dedicated to the raising of rabbits for meat and fur. The term evolved from the medieval Anglo-Norman concept of free warren, which had been, essentially, the equivalent of a hunting license for a given woodland. Shadowland (comics)
"Shadowland" is a 2010 comic book storyline published by Marvel Comics, focusing on Daredevil and other "street-level" superheroes in the Marvel Universe. The storyline started in the Daredevil comic and was expanded upon in the ''Shadowland'' five-issue mini series as well as four tie-in mini series, four one-shots, and two issues of '' Thunderbolts''. The storyline was collected into seven individual hard cover and soft cover Trade paperbacks in 2011. The story chronicles Daredevil's return to Hell's Kitchen after he becomes the leader of the Hand Ninja clan. He builds a temple/prison in Hell's Kitchen, the eponymous Shadowland. His methods get more extreme as he kills long-time adversary Bullseye. The change in attitude brings him and his ally White Tiger in conflict with a number of street level super-heroes such as Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Moon Knight and more. Without Fear
"Without Fear" is a six-issue ''Daredevil'' story arc written by Ed Brubaker with art by Michael Lark and published by Marvel Comics focusing on Mr. Fear's latest attempt to ruin Daredevil's life. The arc appears in ''Daredevil'' #100-#105. Plot summary Mr. Fear resurfaces, along with the Enforcers at his side, providing the criminals of Hell's Kitchen a drug that causes the user to become psychotic and completely unafraid of death. In another attempt to make Daredevil's life miserable, Mr. Fear also gives the drug to Milla Donovan, Daredevil's wife. He is also approached by the Hood and offered a place in his criminal empire which he rejects. Meanwhile, Daredevil hunts down Mr. Fear to force him into giving him an antidote to the drug. After Daredevil tracks down and beats Mr. Fear in a one on one fight, the villain reveals that there is no antidote. Dakota North is a fictional Character (arts), character that has appeared in various comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The Hand is a supervillain organization appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
