Agnes Reston
Agnes Reston (''nee'' Harkness, 1771 – 24 December 1856) was a Scottish wartime nurse during the Peninsular War. She has become known as the Heroine of Matagorda, for her outstanding bravery in an early phase of the Siege of Cádiz. Wartime actions Agnes Reston was the wife of James Reston, a sergeant in the 94th Regiment of Foot. With their four-year-old son, she accompanied her husband when in 1810 he was posted to Spain, to the small fort at Matagorda, near Cadiz. When the fort was bombarded by French forces, she removed her son to the safety of the bomb-proof before assisting the surgeon in dressing the fast-increasing numbers of wounded men, tearing up the family's linen for bandages. Ana Carolina Reston Macan (June 4, 1985 – November 15, 2006) was a Brazilian model. Biography Reston was born to a middle-class family in Jundiaí, on the outskirts of São Paulo, Brazil. At the age of 13, she began her modeling career after winning a local beauty contest in her hometown in 1999. Despite being shorter than the usual model at 1.68 m (5 ft 6 in), she was represented by renowned modeling agencies such as Ford, Elite and L'equipe (L'equipe is a modeling agency in Sao Paulo.) Thelma Salim Reston (6 July 1937 – 20 December 2012) was a Brazilian film, theater, and television actress. Thelma Reston was born in Piracanjuba, Goiás. She began a theater career in the 1960s and work in television in the 1970s. Reston's earlier filmography includes the 1967 film ''Entranced Earth'' and the 1984 film ''Quilombo''. She also took part in the 1992 telenovela '' Pedra sobre Pedra''. Her most recent television credits included ''A Lua Me Disse'' in 2005, ''Negócio da China'' in 2009, and ''Escrito nas Estrelas'' in 2010. Clive Reston is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was patterned on James Bond and Roper from the Bruce Lee Movie ''Enter the Dragon''. Clive Reston was an agent of MI-6 and an ally to Denis Nayland Smith and Shang-Chi. During his time with MI-6, he started a relationship with Leiko Wu, but she left him for Simon Bretnor who turned out to be the mad assassin Mordillo.
