Clive Reston
Clive Reston is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was patterned on James Bond and Roper from the Bruce Lee Movie ''Enter the Dragon''. Clive Reston was an agent of MI-6 and an ally to Denis Nayland Smith and Shang-Chi. During his time with MI-6, he started a relationship with Leiko Wu, but she left him for Simon Bretnor who turned out to be the mad assassin Mordillo. Publication history Clive Reston first appeared in Giant-Size Master of Kung Fu issue three, in 1974, created by Doug Moench. He went on to be a recurring character in the '' Master of Kung Fu'' series, as well as occasionally appearing in other series such as ''Rom'' and ''X-Men''. ASP Pistol
The ASP is a custom made handgun designed and built by Paris Theodore (owner of Seventrees, Ltd., a custom gun leather shop in New York City) from the early 1970s to 1987. The ASP was based on the Smith & Wesson Model 39 pistol. The ASP featured clear Lexan grips allowing the shooter to see how much ammunition is left, a rounded Hammer (firearms), hammer, hooked trigger guard and no front sight. The ASP was responsible for later innovations made in the development of concealable handguns. Jack The Ripper
Jack the Ripper was an unidentified serial killer active in and around the impoverished Whitechapel district of London, England, in the autumn of 1888. In both criminal case files and the contemporaneous journalistic accounts, the killer was called the Whitechapel Murderer and Leather Apron. Attacks ascribed to Jack the Ripper typically involved female prostitutes who lived and worked in the slums of the East End of London. Their throats were cut prior to abdominal mutilations. The removal of internal organs from at least three of the victims led to speculation that their killer had some anatomical or surgical knowledge. Rumours that the murders were connected intensified in September and October 1888, and numerous letters were received by media outlets and Scotland Yard from individuals purporting to be the murderer. Publication history Shockwave's first appearance was in ''Master of Kung Fu (comics), Master of Kung Fu'' #42 (July 1976), and he was created by Tom Sutton, Doug Moench and Paul Gulacy. Fictional character biography Lancaster Sneed was born in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, and is the nephew of Sir Denis Nayland Smith.
