''Rest Inside the Flames'' is the third album by American metalcore band 36 Crazyfists. It was released in Australia on June 10, 2006 and in Europe and the UK on June 12, 2006. The album was released in the US on November 7 via the band's new North American label, DRT Entertainment. Almost two months prior to the album's official release date of June 12, the album was leaked and began appearing on P2P sites. The album features guest vocals by ex-Killswitch Engage frontman Howard Jones on the track "Elysium", as well as Jonah Jenkins (vocalist of Milligram and ex-vocalist of Only Living Witness) on the track "We Cannot Deny". Crazyfists frontman Lindow was pleased with Jenkins appearance on the album and said, in an interview, "Only Living Witness was one of our favorite bands growing up, so we really wanted him to be on the record. 36 Crazyfists were an American metalcore band formed in Anchorage, Alaska in 1994. The band's name comes from the Hong Kong martial arts film ''36 Crazy Fists'' (1977) starring Jackie Chan. To date they have released eight studio albums. History Early years (1994–1999) 36 Crazyfists formed in 1994 in Anchorage, Alaska. The original members were vocalist Brock Lindow, guitarists Steve Holt and Ryan Brownell, bassist JD Stuart, and drummer Thomas Noonan. Holt is from Kenai, and Lindow spent much of his childhood there. Lindow, Brownell, Stuart, and Noonan are all from Anchorage. 36CF originated from the remains of three local bands: Grin, Hessian, and Broke. JD Stuart played in Grin, Brock Lindow in Hessian, and Steve Holt and Ryan Brownell in Broke. Andy Sneap (born 18 July 1969) is an English guitarist, record producer and composer with over 100 albums to his name, most of which have been produced at his Backstage Recording studios in rural Derbyshire. Some of the most critically acclaimed production work on albums include ''Deliverance'' by Opeth and '' Disarm the Descent'' by Killswitch Engage; for which he earned a Swedish Grammis and a US Grammy nomination, respectively. As a performer, he first built his reputation as one of the guitarists in the British thrash metal band Sabbat, and played with them up until their disbanding. He is currently one of the co-guitarists of the British heavy metal band Hell. Faith No More is an American rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1979. Before settling on the current name in July 1983, the band performed under the names Sharp Young Men and later Faith No Man. Bassist Billy Gould, keyboardist/rhythm guitarist Roddy Bottum and drummer Mike Bordin are the longest-remaining members of the band, having been involved since its inception. The band underwent several early lineup changes, and some major changes later. Only Living Witness
Only Living Witness was an American metal band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1989 by members of dissolved thrash metal band Formicide. Across two studio albums, they developed a groove-oriented hardcore punk-influenced heavy metal sound. The band spilt up in 1995. Career The band was formed in 1989 in Boston, Massachusetts, by Jonah Jenkins (vocals) and Eric Stevenson (drums, ex-Formicide). Stevenson's brother Kevin (guitar) and former Formicide bandmate Roy Costa (bass) completed the lineup. In 1991, Kevin Stevenson and Costa were replaced by Craig Silverman and Chris Crowley. Milligram was an American rock band from Boston active from 1996 until 2002. Biography Formed by Jonah Jenkins and Darryl Shepard in 1996, Milligram had no permanent drummer. Shepard continued playing in Roadsaw, while Jenkins formed Miltown. After a predictably "major" label battle between Miltown and Warner Brothers/Giant Records, Jenkins returned to Milligram in 1998. After recruiting Bob Maloney on bass guitar and Zephan Courtney (StompBox, Juliana Hatfield, Chevy Heston) on drums, the ''Hello Motherfucker! EP'' CD/EP was recorded. In late 1999, Milligram parted ways with Bob Maloney and recruited Jeff Turlik (Blue Man Group, StompBox, Roadsaw) on bass guitar. The ''Hello Motherfucker! Jonah Jay Jenkins (born Jonah Moore, October 6, 1970) is an American vocalist, known for his work with bands such as Only Living Witness, Miltown (band), Miltown, Milligram (band), Milligram, The Northern Skulls and Raw Radar War. Biography Born Jonah Moore, his sister is Kassie Carlson, the vocalist for Guerilla Toss. Jenkins formed Only Living Witness with Eric Stevenson, of Formicide in 1989. The band performed in 14 countries including Sweden, England, France, Canada, Italy, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. When Only Living Witness split up in 1995, Jenkins went on to form two bands, Miltown (band), Miltown and Milligram (band), Milligram.
