Banja Luka ( sr-Cyrl, Бања Лука, ) or Banjaluka ( sr-Cyrl, Бањалука, ) is the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the largest city of Republika Srpska. Banja Luka is also the ''de facto'' capital of this entity. Brissonneau et Lotz was a French locomotive engineering company, engaged in the manufacture of railway locomotives and wagons. The company was also a supplier of rolling stock to the Paris Metro, constructing in 1951 the first metro trains in the world to be equipped with rubber tyres. In 1972 it was absorbed into Alstom, becoming Alsthom Groupe Brissonneau. The company was founded in Nantes where it had many of its principal facilities, but by the time it lost its independence it had acquired or established factories and workshops in many parts of France. Railway operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina are successors of the Yugoslav Railways within the country boundaries following independence from Yugoslavia in March 1992. The Ganz Works or Ganz ( or , ''Ganz companies'', formerly ''Ganz and Partner Iron Mill and Machine Factory'') was a group of companies operating between 1845 and 1949 in Budapest, Hungary. It was named after Ábrahám Ganz, the founder and the manager of the company. The HŽ series 6111 is an electric multiple unit used by Croatian Railways ( hr, hrvatske željeznice, HŽ), formerly the class JŽ 441 of ''ŽTP Zagreb'' during the period of Yugoslav Railways. The vehicles were built by Ganz, Hungary (production started in1979). Most of the sets were later modernized by TŽV Gredelj between 2002 and 2015, including both interior and exterior modifications. Between 1992 and mid-2010's, the principal purpose of the units was to serve Zagreb Commuter Rail where they operated exclusively, in addition to some other electrified lines in short to medium distance from Zagreb. The EMD G16 is a diesel locomotive built by General Motors in the US and under licence by Clyde Engineering in Australia and MACOSA in Spain. INNIO Jenbacher designs and manufactures gas engines and cogeneration modules in the Austrian town of Jenbach in Tyrol.
