"Replaceable" is a song by American rock band CKY. Written and produced by the band's vocalist and guitarist Chad I Ginsburg, it is featured as the opening track on the band's 2017 fifth studio album '' The Phoenix'', and was released as the second single from the album on June 2, 2017. Composition and lyrics According to the band's lead vocalist, guitarist and producer Chad I Ginsburg, "Replaceable" is a song "about anyone that gets in your way, holds you back or slows your potential with their own blatant insecurity, fears or sickness". Loudwire's Joe DiVita provided an overview of the song upon its release, describing that "A wah-drenched guitar lick sits in the background, easing in as thumping bass notes accent the opening moments, building tension before "Replaceable" explodes with a door-kicking "Oooh!" and the groove takes charge of the track. CKY (band)
CKY (abbreviation of the band's original name Camp Kill Yourself) is an American Rock music, rock band from West Chester, Pennsylvania. Formed in 1998 by vocalist and guitarist Deron Miller, guitarist Chad I Ginsburg and drummer Jess Margera, the group currently features Margera and Ginsburg with touring bassist Chris Weyh. CKY found initial recognition through its contributions to the ''CKY (video series), CKY'' video series and ''Jackass (TV series), Jackass'' TV series, both of which featured Margera's brother Bam Margera, Bam. Deron John Miller is an American musician and songwriter. He is best known as the former lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of rock band CKY, which he co-founded in 1998. Other bands Miller fronts include the progressive metal band Foreign Objects, the melodic death metal band World Under Blood, the death metal band Malevolent Creation, and the metal band 96 Bitter Beings. Jesse Margera (born August 28, 1978) is an American musician. He is best known as the drummer of the rock band CKY, which he co-founded in 1997. Prior to CKY, Margera performed in the band Foreign Objects with former CKY vocalist and guitarist Deron Miller, and he has since worked with Gnarkill, Viking Skull, The Company Band and Fuckface Unstoppable. Matt Deis is an American bass guitarist. Originally from West Springfield, Massachusetts, he is best known as the bassist of the rock band CKY with whom he performed with between 2005 and 2010, returning in 2015 and departing again in 2019, and the current bassist of metalcore band All That Remains, with whom he performed between 2003 and 2005, but made his return in 2022.
