Renzo Barbieri
Renzo Barbieri (10 March 1940 – 23 September 2007) was an author and editor of Italian comics as well as the founder of the publishing house Edifumetto. In 1980 he wrote ''Il Manuale del Playboy'' (Manual for Playboys), a textbook about where European playboys live, what cars they drive, and other lifestyle tips. Biography The Beginning Barbieri was born in Milan, Italy. In the early 1960s he started collaborating with comics publishers like Editoriale Dardo and Edizioni Alpe. He was also a journalist for the tabloid ''La Notte''. In the mid-1960s, after reading a rather violent White Cartoon French book, he decided to open a publishing house in Milan and developed the idea of "pocket comics", also known as a digest. Alessandro Biffignandi (8 October 1935 – 22 January 2017) was an Italian illustrator, mostly known for his covers for digest-sized, adult comics whose themes were sex, violence, and horror. Biography Alessandro Biffignandi was born in 1935 in Rome, Italy. As a child, he was a comics fan, reading titles such as ''Topolino'', an Italian, digest-sized comic series featuring Disney comics, and subsequently getting interested in their drawings. Leone Frollo
Leone Frollo (9 April 1931 – 17 October 2018) was an Italian comic book artist. Frollo was born in Venice. He debuted in 1948 with a western called ''Sui Grandi Laghi ("On Great Lakes")''. From 1958 to 1968, he worked for London agency Fleetway, doing war stories. After that, until the mid-1980s he did works in several genres, including fantasy and horror, but specially erotic comics. His main work in the erotic genre in this period is '' Biancaneve'', based on Snow White, '' Lucifera'' and '' Yra'', which he did for Edifumetto. Birago Balzano (5 January 1936 – 25 March 2022) was a leading Italian cartoonist who was the designer and illustrator of the adult horror character Zora. Ian Richard Hodgkinson (born May 31, 1967), better known by his ring name Vampiro, is a Canadian semi-retired professional wrestler who most recently served as director of talent for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA).
